Thunder heart followed Nightwing silently, hoping that he would be okay. Thunder heart sat by his friend, not uttering a word. He listened to the meeting outside.

Thunder heart lay in his nest, shivering slightly. He wished that Leafbare wasn't upon them like this. He longed for the warm green leaf mornings, and the stocked pile of fresh-kill... He stood stiffly, looking around for signs of any cat being awake. He didn't see any, at least not yet. He walked to the heart of the camp. There were a couple mice and shrews in a pitifully small pile. He turned away sadly and headed out of camp. He sniffed around, wondering if there was any prey to be caught. Probably not.

xxxxThunderheart woke slowly. He had dreamt of cats in battle. It had been a terrible dream, with blood and fur and claws and teeth and yowls and cries... Thunder heart shook his head, as if to push away the memory. He stood slowly, placing his paws gently as he made his way out of the den. He glanced left, then right. No one was around. Thunder heart padded carefully out of camp.

xxxxThunderheart found himself by the quiet stream. He bent down and lapped at the freezing-cold liquid. The pebbles clinked softly under his paws as he trotted along the stream. He liked the cool weather... Though he hated the hunger. He suddenly slowed, placing his paws more carefully so as not to make sound. Thunder heart perked his ears. Nothing. He opened his jaw barely to scent the air. Nothing. He continued looking for prey.

xxxxAbout fifteen minutes later, Thunderheart was burying two mice. He wanted to catch more before he went back to camp. Thunder heart ventured deeper into the forest, in search of more prey.
