Deep in the Sonoran Desert, there is a small group of cats. These cats aren't normal, however. They all have unique powers that help them survive the harsh environment they live in.
It all started who knows how many years ago, with Frostfoot. Frostfoot was exiled from her Clan when they found out she was "strange". She was dangerous, they said. A freak, they said. So Frostfoot ran.
She ran as far away as possible, all the way from her comfy forest home to the bleak desert. Using her powers to create and manipulate ice, she made a haven for all cats like her, with powers. She named this haven BrushClan, after the brush that hid her from her past. Soon, she died, and her daughter Chillwind took her place. After a long rule, Icefur took control.
Now, the Clan lives peacefully under Icestar's rule. Then two kits are born, and they change everything.

Other Clan Customs-
Wrapping Paws- During the hot times of the year, cats wrap their paws with frozen leaves (thanks, Icestar!)- or "skin", as they call it- to keep from burning their paws.
Herbs- Med. cat! Please keep in mind that we are in a desert, so think of what kind of herbs the Clan has available. Feel free to make up herbs, but be consistent
Needle Picking- Knowing that cactus are a valuable source of water, the cats have learned how to safely harvest and remove the needles from cactus.

Territory-
On the top of Little Cat Mountain in Arizona, there is SonoranClan. It has a camp with no walls and no dens. The cats here sleep under the beautiful night sky. Everyone sleeps next to each other to keep safe during the night on thin layers of flattened brush. In the middle of the 'camp' is a usually small pile of prey covered in a sheet of thorns to keep predators away.
