The black and gray tom began to purr. "Oh yeah? You'll be sorry once I take you down, Wavewhisker!" Raccoonheart chuckled, crawling out from under the she-cat, rised up on his hind legs, then embraced the she-cat with his forelegs. "I want to see you get out of this!"

Wavewhisker felt happy, she was very fond of Raccoonheart.
"I surrender oh great and smart crowfood deputy!"
She started grooming herself, and looked up at Raccoonheart's face,
she grinned.
"So... care to hunt, we can go out hunting... Hollyleaf!"
Yelled Wavewhisker to the she-cat,
"Want to go hunting with Raccoonheart and I?"

Hollyleaf looked up to the call of Wavewhisker, "Sure!" she called back to Wavewhisker. The big she got up and padded over to the two. She dipped her head to Racoonheart and Wavewhisker. "So where shall we go first?" she asked sitting with them.

Raccoonheart chuckled at Wavewhisker's response, feeling a good, warm feeling in his heart but not quite knowing what it was or why. He shrugged it off, but it didn't seem to go away until Wavewhisker invited Hollyleaf to hunt with them. He'd forgotten all about hunting until then.

"Oh yeah, that." Raccoonheart murmured to himself, then sat up to lead the patrol. "Why don't we head near the stream?" He suggested.

"That sounds good to me." she meowed in her usual Monotone voice standing to follow the two out. She bent down to lick her thickly furred paws grumbling quitely in the process, "Ugh, why don't i ever lose my thick coat!" she murmmered more to herself the to Racoonheart and Wavewhisker.

Wavewhisker excitedly spun around in a circle three times like a dog,
"So let's get a move on! This camp isn't going to feed itself."
Wavewhisker pondered which side of the stream to hunt on,
"Since there is two sides of the stream, Raccoonheart and you could hunt on the left side
if that's okay. I'm going to go hunt on the right."
she bid Raccoonheart and Hollyleaf a goodbye.
"Well, we better both be going."
She walked off to the right towards the stream, she only turned back once to look at Raccoonheart's face,
was he going to be hurt because she decided to leave him? She needed more time to think this out.
She needed time to think out if she really liked him or not.
She turned back toward camp, she had almost forgotten her apprentice.
"Eaglepaw! I am going hunting, please join me."

Darkkit played with a piece of moss from Cherrywind's nest.
"Hey, Dewkit want to play?"
He motioned toward the piece of moss,
"It's a badger, and we can't let it hurt us."
He batted at the piece of moss, he then jumped back, pretending it was attacking him.

Darkwhispers padded up to Halfmoon, he was in StarClan, she knew this was a
dream because she could actually see.
"Halfmoon."
"Darkwhispers."
"I'm sorry I had to leave, but it was my time. I watch over you and are kits always."
"I know you do, Darkwhispers."
Halfmoon paused.
"I have named the oldest, Darkkit. He was born with your fur and kind eyes. Our only daughter, I have named Wolfkit."
"Indeed you have chosen well."
"There is one more."
"I know there is, I have seen him."
"His name is Littlekit, he is youngest of our kits."
"Yes Halfmoon, I know. Please, be careful. Many seek to hurt our kits, their are ones who I have wronged."
"What do you mean, Darkwhiskers?"
"I have a past, a past that I never revealed. I thought... I thought we could just forget about my past."
"You mean, our kits are in danger?"
"Halfmoon be careful..."
"No!"
Darkwhiskers slowly faded away until she was engulfed in darkness...
Halfmoon was grief stricken and she looked down at her paws, they did not glow with the brightness they had when she was younger, they never would again now that Darkwhispers was gone. What had he meant?
Halfmoon padded out of the medicine cat den into the middle of BrookClan camp, she needed to check on the kits.
Halfmoon was concerned for her sons and daughters, what was going to happen to them?

The black and gray tom waved his tail "goodbye" once Wavewhisker left. He shuffled his paws a bit, wondering why he felt much cold once she left. Was he sick? He decided that after he was done hunting he'd ask the medicine cat why he was feeling so strange.

"I don't think I have the concentration to catch fish, Hollyleaf. Maybe we can chase down birds instead? Or try to get lucky and kill a squirrel?" He told the white and black she-cat.

Hollyleaf looked at him wondering, "Well do you think you could get rabbit?" she asked her tail flicking being slightly annoyed, "I used to hunt them down." she meowed waiting for her deputy to reply.

"Yeah, I can hunt down some rabbits." Raccoonheart said, sounding a bit competitive. He got up from near the stream and went to a plain stretch of territory. Flexing his claws, he sniffed the air, trying to find any scent of a rabbit. He finally caught one and followed it's tracks.

"Gotcha." Raccoonheart muttered once he saw the brown creature. He crept closer then launched himself at it. The poor creature died of shock and Raccoonheart's weight.
