perched atop the great clan rock stood a golden
tom with a mixture of pain and anger in his eyes
as he glared down upon a muscular black tom.
a few hisses could be heard among the clan
before the golden tom whom was referred
to as "lionstar" spoke up. "shadowstride-for
your grave actions of betraying the clan;i
sentence you to be exiled. starting sun down,
if any of our cats see your face-we will not be
afraid to use our claws."

confusion, and sadness vowed to get re
venge for the clan's misjudgement as this
had not been the only time a cat had be
en poorly judged. banding together with
exiled familiar faces and those looking
for protection-shadowstride made his

duskclan's camp is nearby a small river seperating their territory
from the rivaling pack of rogues nearby. finding the actual
camp is the tricky part-due to many twists and turns and the
darkness of the forest that barely gives anyone a clue. but
when you do find it-you'll be rather shocked as the camp is
quite open;a large shallow pond sits next to it. cats make
their homes in side the trees or the rocks, while others
sleep in empty fox holes. basically anything that will give
them protection. there isnt any designated sleeping locat
ion-its just first comes first. although the medicine den is
located inside a large, hollow tree trunk not too far away
from the camp. this is due to a large fear of getting other
cats sick-so they seperate the medicine cat from the clan.
the hunting ground is located in an area called "deer path"
because of the high chance of finding deer, fawns, and bucks.
though it is advised to stay away from them;as they are pot
entially dangerous. inside deer path, you may find an assor
tment of prey such as rabbits, mice, squirrels, finches, and
shrews. the training ground is an area called sun clearing.
here, apprentices come with their mentors to learn how to
fight and hunt.

on the other side of the river lies caliginous waters' territory.
following north of the river, you'll find the first territory fallen
stream. here is one of the packs hunting grounds. here, you can
find frogs, voles, and snakes. continuing down the river, you'll
come across an abandoned two-leg house. here is where the
pack keeps the dangerously ill cats when push comes to shove.
going deeper into the forest and underneath a hidden tunnel
thats hidden underneath a distinctive bush you'll come across
the camp. inside of the camp lies a shallow pond in the center.
the whole camp is surrounded by trees-limiting the amount of
sunlight that's able to shine down. like mossclan, there's no sp
ecific place any cat is supposed to sleep;its first comes first.
cats either sleep nearby the pond, make nests inside of small
caves, holes, or hollow trees. some even sleep above in the
trees. the pack doesn't really have a designated 'training
pack.' instead, the apprentices train with their mentors some
where in the camp. the way that apprentices are trained is
depended upon the mentor itself-some are more hostile than
others. infact-some mentors are so hostile to their apprentice
that the younger cats dont even come home sometimes. only
the strongest survive-weakness might not be tolerated.

The large yet lithe and slim brown bodies, white-paw-and-chested tom was standing close to the apprentice's den, his striking blue gaze sweeping across the camp. Above his head, thunder rolled from the distance, north of his location meaning it would eventually pass over the hunting groups outside the camp. Stormstar blinked shifting his focused gaze to the brambles that flanked him. Rather than fear the forest he called home, something he could readily expect any apprentice to do on his first day out of the den, Stormstar felt secure and protected by the growth surrounding Mossclan camp. The fresh kill pile was moderate, yet Stormstar was not completely satisfied by its appearance. However, he wouldn't have to pounce on the issue as if it were a badger, at this very moment. The atmosphere felt heavy and stuffy.

Mottledpelt slowly stirred from her sleep, opening one eyelid then the other. She was greeted with the familiar scent of the warrior den, which she was in right now. All the different scents of the cats were overwhelming and they clogged her nostrils. It appears that most of the warriors were sleeping, maybe she was the first one to awake. Silently, the tortoiseshell molly lifted her body from off her soft, mossy nest, stretching and exhaling. She figured it would be best to start the day and so she trudged over to the opening of the den, being very careful not to step on the unconscious cats. Mottledpelt heard the slight rumbling of thunder in the distance, was it going to rain today? She pondered, licking at her paws. The molly took a quick glance around and then noticed a large, lithe cat sitting closely to the apprentices' den. It was their leader, Stormstar. Mottledpelt had no interest in speaking today so she best not to get his attention, she was very silent anyway -- it was one of her main personality traits, including her sass.
