Season: It is currently Greenleaf!
season update: 8/26/16
10/14/16 The storm has started!
8/15/16 Upcoming storm!
For those of you who do not know, Starclan will be warning the cats of an upcoming storm. This storm will start to take place in a quarter moon-half moon from now (roleplay time of course)
During this time cats will prepare by reinforcing the clan wall, along with dens and such.
Once the storm begins to pick up, I will announce each [roleplay] day, the level of intensity of the storm.
Stage 1- light to moderate drizzle, the wind is picking up a little. Nothing to be too concerned about, and is more unpleasant than frightening because cats are getting their fur wet
Stage 2- rain is coming down harder, wind is blowing faster. Tension is rising and cats should growing apprehensive about the storm.
Stage 3- torrential downpour. (May or may not be accompanied by thunder and lightning) Winds will be strong enough to knock trees down, and rivers/streams/water sources will flood. At this time cats will be scared for their lives, and all will seem hopeless. No cat is safe at this point. No loner, rogue or stray kittypet should be out in the storm, and some may seek shelter with the clan cats.
Once the storm reaches stage 3 for the first time, camp will be destroyed. This will force the cats to quickly find somewhere to stay, and thus they will take refuge in the abandoned twoleg nest.
The storm will last a moon and despite the storm the abandoned twoleg nest will manage to stay sturdy.
Keep in mind that the storm's intensity will vary day to day, it will not constantly be increasing but over time it will reach its climax, and then begin to die down.
Ex. Day 1 of storm- stage 1, Day 2 of storm-stage 2, Day 3- stage 1
(Hopefully this makes sense, if not then I will try to explain it in a different way.)
Obviously cats will get hurt or die during this time. I already have a list of cats that will be dying during the storm (they have become inactive) but if you want one of your cats to die, let me know. You may rp their death out as you please, but remember not to be gory or too descriptive, and to remain realistic to the storm and its intensity level. (There won't be any trees falling and crushing someone of its the first day of stage 1, so keep these things in mind.
I apologize for such a long post I just wamted to make sure everything was accounted for. If you have any questions feel free to ask I won't bite ^_^ please make sure you read this whole thing too, I know it's a lot but it's important.
