I watched a flash of silver go by and caught it with my paw, claws unsheathed. I caught it in my mouth and got up. I picked up the mouse and other fish and started to walk to the camp.

His ears prick up, looking about as if she was talking to another Tawnystep. "Me? Uh, sure." Maybe Streamstar had something about him and the queen would be the one to deliver the bad news. Then again, queens didn't usually call for someone unless they needed something like new bedding or prey.

Purpleflower turns her head to see Tawnystep, smiling at the tom. She realizes how handsome he is, her heart slowly pounding. "There you are Tawnystep!" she said purring. "I was wondering where you were!"

"Oh, sorry to worry you Purpleflower... I'm just waiting for a patrol to be assigned, you and the medicine cats need to eat sometime." Not sure how to respond to her joyful purrs; he'd always tried to look out for cats in need but he knew so little about his clan mates. She'd always seemed friendly, it could just be her way of saying hello.

I looked at Tawnystep, where is the deputy, I wondered. I thought I'd have to figure out for patrols since I cant find the deputy. "Excuse me," I meowed suddenly and got up. I padded away hoping I didn't sound too worried. I sat down in my nest inside my den thinking.

He watches the leader leave, guessing the mention of a patrol brought Robintail into her mind. He wasn't the worst cat for the job, but Tawnystep would be lying if he said the age didn't bother him. The leader was far too young and Robintail was only twenty-six moons of age... This clan was run by kits compared to him, but he shakes the thoughts from his mind. "Sure, what do you feel like eating; not that there's really a variety."

Lynxspirit let out a rusty purr. "Thank you, Reedpaw." She devoured the fish and took the moss in to clean her nest out.
