"Would you be quiet? GrainClaws kits are trying to sleep!" She meowed, ears lightly flattend. LeafKit was being extremly loud tonight.

Leafkit sighed, then sat down in his nest. " I feel hot!" He complained. He tried to get rid of it, but the nursery was getting really warm. He started moving around, getting irritated with the feeling of his fur sticking to him.

"SunPaw brought some wet moss eariler, so you can cool yourself off with that." She meowed, pointing her tail towards the bundle of moss in the corner.

Leafkit nodded, then went over to the bundle of moss. He snuck behind it, then saw he had the chance to escape. Cats are attacking the camp! I can save them! He thought. He suck out of the nursery, trying to get to the entrance of camp. He looked out, then started to walk. He found himself in the forest, saying " Wow!" He continued to pad along, hearing noises. He still kept going, hearing the crunch of twigs under him.

Pikefang, of course, missed the mouse. Padding home tiredly, the large tom sighed, before sitting and groom his thick brown pelt. He noted all the assigned cats had left for the gathering already; thank Starclan. They wouldn't be able to see his miserable state. Laying down and sighing, the large tom closed his jade eyes and napped.

"LeafKit? LeafKit!" She called for the kit to return, but no response. When she went to investigate, her eyes grew wide with shock of the kit missing. She quickly leaped out of the nursery, letting out a yowl for the kit. She soon noticed PikeFang."PikeFang! Help! LeafKit is missing!" She meowed desprately.

Pikefang could hardly believe it. When he'd finally closed his eyes, something absurd had happened. Shooting upright, the senior warrior's jade gaze fixed on her. "Calm down; go tell Ivyvine. I'll go track the rascal immediately." Turning and exiting the camp, the large tom began sniffing, finding it easy to follow the scent and the obvious trail the kit had left. "Leafkit!" he yowled.

"A-Alright." She meowed quivkly before hurrying into the warriors den."IvyWine, wake up! LeafKit´s missing!" She meowed frantically.

Ivyvine was in the middle of napping when Patchedpelt came in. She said " Wha? Wait, Leafkit's missing? I'm on it. Search the camp." She padded out of the den, starting to follow Leafkit's scent.

Leafkit was following a trace of stones he found, then fell into a puddle, and was soon drenched in mud. " Yuck!" He shook his fur out, but the water still slightly remained. He continued padding about, then looked up, while walking. Without noticing, he fell indo a deep hole, hitting the ground, hard. He felt a pain he never felt before, and couldn't move his legs. " Help!!!!!" He squealed. He never should've left camp. All he felt was pain.

Pikefang had stopped at a mud puddle, noting splotches that were shaped as tiny pawprints. Tagging after them, the large tom then froze as he heard yowling. "Leafkit, I'm coming," he mewed loudly, forcing himself to remain calm as he ran towards the sounds of the kits' voice. Realizing that the kit was trapped in a hole with his legs perhaps broken, the senior warrior released a low yowl calling for help. Then, he turned to Leafkit, his jade eyes shining in the dying light. "Stay calm, Leafkit. We'll get you out of there soon."
