she laughed, she guessed she was pretty hyper. while they exited the den, she wondered what they would do. so, she didn't hesitate to ask. "will we do a fighting session?" she asked, a little bit weary. she wasn't the best at it, she much more preferred hunting.

Buzzardclaw found himself frowning but quickly smiled at her asking him
the same question. "I sleep a bit worse than previous times. I think
the moss in my nest is growing stale. I can't remember the last time any of the
nests in the warriors den were changed out honestly." He added with a slight
squint. Cocoapaw had yet to awaken, he would retrieve his apprentice late, if
the young tom was sleeping this late he probably needed it. "That could
be why you didn't sleep well either. That's just a guess though." He added
with a shrug but could feel the pang of hunger in his stomach. He licked his maw
and curled his tail, standing up and looking at Briarshadow, "Have you
eaten yet?" He inquired, flicking the tip of his tail against the ground
and stirring a small cloud of dust and dirt which settled quickly.

stack was sorted and put back away in a fresh beech leaf. The pile beside
her was considerably large, many herbs were wilted as she liked to wait some
time before pulling new herbs from her plants. Today she would have to go out
and do a harvest for more herbs. Peonypool got up and stuffed the herbs
in her mouth carefully, making an effort to not break any of the stems and
ingest any of the juice from the wilted herbs. Peony dipped her head to various
cats as she dumped her herbs in the dirtplace, some thought it was strange
but the action served two purposes. One she wouldn't have to leave camp or
let them slowly rot away in her den, secondly it masked the horrible stench
of dirtplace for a brief section of time. Peonypool trotted from her task and
laid down in camp happily, purring quietly as the sun warmed her fur.

Buzzardclaw nodded and trotted forward, nuzzling around in the preypile
for a plump rabbit. He himself didn't care for rabbit, it was too lean and tasted
oddly like grass. He did however fancy a plump water-vole. The tom picked
around for a hare before the heather brown fur of one caught his eye. The tom
grabbed the foot of the hare and pulled it out, leaning down to give it a good sniff
to assure it's freshness. He picked up the rabbit and padded back over to Briarshadow,
she was quite a relaxing cat to be around, she was friendly but not gooey sweet like
some. He plopped the rabbit down and sat, "Alright, what will you be
having? There are some shrews in the pile if you want those." He meowed in
a dead serious tone and bent down as if he was going to take a bite from the hare
before he chuckled, "Just kidding, care to share it with me?" He asked
with a playful smile, he liked to joke sometimes just to humor himself, but
if it was funny to others that was simply an added bonus.
