|INTRODUCE A LITTLE ANARCHY|
Once, a long, long time ago, two Clans of wild cats, Celsius and Fahrenheit, were at war against each other. The war had become full of dirty tricks and traitors, and the big cats were doing anything just to kill another. Battles erupted even within Clans over just dirty looks, and many of them died, on both sides. Even at an arranged Peace Meeting battles broke out, and both Clans went home with even further grudges.
Four sibling gods, Phyre, Watr, Aire, and Erthe, saw these battles, and were angered. Phyre wanted to ravish the world with fire to punish the Clans, while Watr wanted to drown it, Aire wanted to send great winds, and Erthe wanted to crush it. The gods began to argue, and further chaos broke out.
During the night when the Sun was trying to sleep, he became angered by the constant noise from both above and below, and spoke to the Moon about it at dawn. Moon said that she, too, was having the same problem. Both were beginning to fade, tired from not being able to get any sleep. So Sun and Moon went up to the gods together, and suggested that instead of destroying the world, that they simply tell the cats to stop. The gods realized the logic of this and decided to split up and go at sunset to the different Clans.
So Phyre and Aire went to see the Celsi cats, and Watr and Erthe went to the Fahren, and told them to come to peace. Suddenly, Sun and Moon spoke loudly to the cats; Keep Peace, and we will bestow you with powers, and with coats of color. And as they said that, there was a flash of light, and suddenly the formerly white pelts of the Celsi cats became orange like fire and spotted black, their pelts sleek and shiny, and they were more slender and fast, and the cats of Fahren became grey like stone and also spotted black, their pelts thick and fluffy, and they were more muscled and large. The amazed cats examined themselves and their counterparts, noticing that all of them had a black symbol in the center of their largest paw pad on their front right paw, either in the shape of flames or a gust of wind for the Celsi or a water droplet or stone for the Fahren. What are these? they asked, and Sun and Moon replied; These are the marks that represent what element your power is from. All of you have been touched by one of the gods, Phyre or Erthe, or a goddess, Aire or Watr, and have received partial control over that element. Eventually, as your powers are mixed through generations, more powers will be created. Use this opportunity wisely. Then, the four visiting gods faded, and left a few words behind;

The Healers recognized the fire, wind, water, and earth signs from their dreams, but the other four were mysteries. As more cubs were born, more and more of them had the strange marking and colorings on their paw-pads. War raged on, and these special cubs were trained well, but treachery was ever present and the war never ended, shifting from one side to another. And so we find ourselves in the present.

Healer- Interprets signs & dreams, & treats the sick & wounded of the Clan, advises the Leader. Doesn't always share the same sense of rivalry & aggression between the Clans, though they are still loyal.
Healer Apprentice- Training to be a Healer
Gold/Silverbloods- The more elite of the Clan, usually chosen to lead patrols (although they also carry out normal Warrior duties) Help advise the Leader. Usually a new Deputy is picked from this group of cats.
Warriors- The main cats that hunt/fight for the Clan (although cats of most ranks will at least sometimes hunt/fight)
Apprentices- The cats training to become Warriors. They take care of the Elders.
