"Is this goodbye then?" Nuba asked softly.

[the timey thing]

Rarity put his muzzle on top of Nbua's shoulder, whimpering lightly. "It might be.. I just don't know if I can live like this anymore. No one.. understands me.."

[Mist]

"Where will you go?" Nbua asked.

[the timey thing]

"In all truth," Rarity grumbled, moving his head back. "I don't know. I don't have anywhere to go."

[Mist]

"What about the other hyenas you were telling me about? Couldn't you stay with them?" Nbua asked.

[the timey thing]

Rarity shook his head. "Their pack is full. I only play with the cubs because they sneak out of their mother's sights."

[Mist]

"Why don't you stay with us until you can find a pack you can join," Nbua said softly. "It's too dangerous out there for you to be out on your own."

[the timey thing]

Rarity gave a light sigh, flicking his tail. "I know it's dangerous, but maybe that's better?"

[Mist]

"Of course it's not better," Nbua growled. "You'll get killed!"

Rarity gave a light twitch. "Well, the thing is, I've been thinking about an offer Radi and Rangi gave me the day they left." He said lightly, a whimper forcing it's way up. "They said they would find me a pack if.. I killed Giza. I can't kill him though.."
