Lady Ascelina is a knight sworn to protect the king's family from all perils, even if it requires her to lay down her life. Ever so passionate about her tasks, the knight possesses a kind and gentle soul beneath her armoured shell, she's compassionate towards those that she protects and enjoys the company of animals very much due to her childhood surrounded with animals. Her current steed is a black mare called Nymph and she takes care of a hawk that's trained to intercept carrier pigeons that their enemies use.

Born to the union of a simple farmer and a retired knight errant, Ascelina spent her youthful days at her family's farm, helping out with the chores whenever she could, as she grew older, her desire to follow in her father's footsteps became most evident. Ascelina received her first training from her father, who later returned to his knightly duties in the service of the king, on the king's orders, just around Ascelina's teenage years, as she was sent to her uncle to continue her training as a squire. Tragedy struck when Ascelina's father fell defending the king's family, which drove Ascelina to continue with her training with passion, even more set to follow her father's example.

After many years, Ascelina climbed ranks with dedication, becoming the personal guard for the king's family and later on, his heir's head bodyguard.

Princess Vivian is quite the textbook example of what you'd imagine a stereotypical princess to be. She's a kind soul, fairly soft-spoken when the time calls for it and empathetic to a fault. She only tends to fully open up and let herself relax from the prim and proper exterior she always needs to embody to a select few, be it a trusted maid or a friend from somewhere. She's always enjoyed being out in nature whenever she's able, having a soft spot for many of the flora and fauna that can be found in the palace gardens or around the kingdom's territory. Her current steed is is white stallion, Alba.

xxxxＨｉｓｔｏｒｙ
The firstborn of king Matthias and queen Blaire, Vivian was always destined to be the future monarch of the Istorith kingdom. She was raised in the ways of royalty since she was able to walk, taught how she was to speak, to act, to hold herself and all the like. It would likely feel too oppressive of an upbringing to many in the kingdom were they thrust into her place but she's never known any different. Even during her teenage years she was never the rebellious type, following the rules she was set to a T in the hopes that her dutiful behaviours would somehow pay off in the future. Or so she hopes. Fate never seems to favour her very much, but perhaps it will smile on her some day.

As of recently, she's been told that she's to be assigned a personal bodyguard for any future excursions outside of the palace walls.
