1x1 with Light Bringer

[Kia_Bee]

Cait's grey-blue eyes caught the pure bright blue of the other man. She didn't know why, but she felt calmed by the color and felt as if she had seen him before but couldn't remember. "Don't come any closer!" The mugger yelled, turning the gun to point at Cait's head, which caused her to let out a small cry of fear.

Castiel did as the man said and didn't take another step. "Do not shoot her for it is a sin and sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you want to pay." He said, calmly.

[Kia_Bee]

"Shut up! Just shut up!" The mugger yelled angrily, pointing the gun back at Castiel. As he did, he unintentionally pulled the trigger, causing the gun to fire and a bullet heading right at Castiel. Cait screamed again at the gunfire, closing her eyes.

[Light Bringer]

The bullet hit Castiel square in the chest and he felt his heart shatter but he stood motionless. He knew that it had killed Jimmy. He knew that his cover had been blown. He shook his head at the man.

"What...what are you?!" The mugger exclaimed in fear, his hands trembling as he looked at Castiel. He shook his head before quickly running off. Cait opened her eyes, realizing that the man was gone. "You're hurt!" She gasped, dropping her easel and bag before running to Castiel to investigate the wound.

[Light Bringer]

Castiel looked at Cait and shook his head. "No. I am fine." He said, looking down at his chest where the only signs that he had been shot was a bullet hole in his shirt. There was no blood and no wound for his Grace had healed him almost instantly.

"But he...I saw..." Cait said, confused as she looked at him. She shook her head, sighing softly. "I must have been so frightened I'm seeing things." She said before looking at him. "Thank you, by the way, for stopping that man. I don't want to think of what would have happened if you didn't intervene."

[Light Bringer]

"It is alright. It was the right thing to do and I could not stand to see someone sinning like that." Castiel explained, offering a sort of half smile.

Cait returned the smile. "I see you're the religious kind." She said as she picked up her things. "My family would like you." She said before blushing darkly. "I didn't mean that in the romantic way like you're my boyfriend. I just meant that they'd like you for who you are. Well, they like everyone really. I'm sorry, I'm just embarrassing myself."

Castiel didn't quite understand why Cait's cheeks had darkened but he shook his head anyway. "Do not worry, you are not embarrassing yourself." He said, smiling.
