Nick breathed deeply.
New people arriving at the farm. No idea whats waiting for them.
He wondered what Troy had planned. Then wondered where he disappeared too.
Probably getting ready for the new arrivals, he thought. Nick headed down to the barn to look for Troy, to let him know the people where here and give him a hand with whatever hes doing.

[Light Bringer]

"Nicky? That you?" Troy asked when he heard the squeak of the barn door. He was adding the finishing touches to his little experiment and revising his notes. When he finally finished, he took a step back and looked at the person, squinting to make out the figure against the harsh sun. "Ah, it is you. What exactly are you doing here? Don't you have more important things to do?"

[Piera]

Nick shrugged. "Someone has to keep an eye on you" he smirked. "Just came by to let you know that the new people are arriving, what are you working on here? Looks complex." He glanced at his notes.

[Light Bringer]

Troy shook his head with a laugh. "Whatever you say Nicky. I'm trying to figure out how long it takes for people to turn, what factors contribute to faster turning time all that stuff. And I'm on the verge of figuring out how to stop or at least slow the infection." He finished the sentence with wide eyes and a proud smile.

[Piera]

"Your kidding?!" Nick asked. "You're seriously saying you might be able to stop the infection?"
He couldnt believe his ears and wouldnt of believed it if anyone else had said it but Troy knows what hes talking about and he looks so confident.

[Light Bringer]

"Only if the circumstances are right. If the bite is on a limb it can...well...it can be cut off. Now I'm not saying that it's perfect but that should work if done fast enough. My theory needs further testing though." Troy explained.

[Piera]

"Well we just so happen to have a large number of 'willing' test subjects. How many you need?" Nick smiled

[Light Bringer]

"Four? Yeah, four would be enough." Troy said, placing his hand on Nick's shoulder.

Nick patted Troys hand. "I think I can spare four, five if your lucky."
