Robbie reached a hand up to Daisy so that he could get out of the ditch. Dammit he was all full of mud now. Too bad Rider powers didn't come with an auto-clean option. He swiped at his muddied jacket with a rumble and lip twitch. Jeez it seemed like today's purpose was 'make Rider come out and be pissed'. Robbie growled and bared his teeth, then the Rider quieted down for the moment. With Daisy's help, Robbie got out of the ditch. "My vote goes for not doing that again." Robbie rumbled, smoothing his hair with gloved fingers. He smacked at his muddied outfit again, trying to get it off again. What the heck was wrong with him? It seemed like no matter what he did, he just felt annoyed and tense and two seconds from going full on demon freak out mode.
Robbie looked around, wondering where they should head next. A low rumble caught his attention. His head turned towards the darkening horizon. "I think that was thunder." He said. For once the rumbling wasn't coming from him.

-_Daisy_-

"I could live with that." Daisy agreed, pulling him up and as Robbie smacked the mud off of himself Daisy looked at her own clothing.
"Ew." She frowned in disgust.
Her jeans were smeared and her shirt was a little torn where it must of snagged on the branches of the hedge.
Daisy heard a rumble, from above this time.
The vibrations practically buzzed through her bones.
"I feel it..." She said, looking at him.
"All the more reason to hurry this along."
She looked around and started off in the direction of the fence, which seemed to be the most logical choice.
There was some sort of building behind the fence, blocking most of the view to the inside of the quarry.
Daisy looked thoughtfully from the fence to Robbie.
"We can't go over, we can't go under...how about you burn through it?" She suggested.
Between the building and the fence was a gap that would be big enough if they squeezed through it.

(Not joking, as I read 'I think that was thunder' it suddenly started raining hard here lol)

-_Robbie_-

(Its freezing cold here and windy and still wet from rainy, bleh Fall)
Robbie looked at the sky that was continuing to grow darker and gloomy.
It seemed like the sunlight had gone away to some other distant place.
Robbie hurried to Daisy's side as the wind picked up. "Yeah I can burn through it for ya." He offered, glad to have a reason to use his powers that could be considered more than destruction.
Robbie grabbed the fence and channeled his Rider powers, his hands going skeletal. Flames grew in his palms and ate through the old wood of the fence. Robbie's face grew hot and dry then started to burn away, revealing the flaming skull.

-_Daisy_-

Daisy stepped back and watched Robbie work his magic.
Still, she could never get used to the fire's effect on Robbie's body as the Rider came through.
She was careful to maneuver through the hole and not catch herself of the melted parts of the wire.
As she did this she wondered what Robbie felt when the switch happened.
Did he lose complete control of his body to the Rider? Could he still see what he was doing?
Did the flames hurt?
Daisy shivered, pushing the thoughts away and pressed her back to the building and skimmed by the rest of the fence, peeking around the corner.
She saw a few construction vehicles being used to move mounds of rock and gravel away.
The van was nowhere in sight.
Someone was coming past, Daisy could hear close footsteps so she flattened herself to the building, looking back to Rob- Ghost Rider.
When she heard the person walk away she spoke.
"I can't see the van so that's problem number one.
Two is, there's a few workers walking around.
The noise of the machinery should muffle our movement so I think we should stick to the dirt track." She said, quiet enough to not draw attention but loud enough to hear.

Ghost Rider released the melted wire of the fencing. It sizzled and glowed softly orange in the shadowed lighting.
The Ghost Rider rumbled softly at Daisy.
He couldn't make his words clear in English with his lack of a voicebox.
That and his constant grimace/grin made him monstrous. Not to mention the flames.
Ghost Rider nodded to Daisy in agreement. The demonic spirit was already calculating his thoughts.
He wanted to look into the souls of all the bad men in this so-called Quarry.
He wanted to see their guilt and see their fear.
Ghost Rider cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, growling. Here doggie doggie doggies....come to Rider!

-_Daisy_-

Daisy felt another shiver up her spine when the Rider rumbled in what she guessed was agreement.
Daisy checked that the coast was clear and ran over to a pile of bricks, ducking down and creeping along to peek if they were clear and ran again to a huge sack of sand.
She glanced behind to check that hotness was keeping pace...hotness.
Daisy bit her lip and sternly told herself to quit the puns.
In a way she trusted the actual Rider more than Robbie in the case of who he chose to burn and who he didn't.
At least he was more predictable and she didn't have to worry so much about who he went after.
But of course she would never truly trust a demon.
Maybe the feeling was but mutual with the Rider too, she knew that he would only trust her so far.
Actually she was surprised that he listened to her at all, let alone trust her.
Daisy heard laughter not far away and it was coming from more than one person.
Daisy cursed lightly and glanced around the sack that she was using as cover.

Ghost Rider followed Daisy, hands at the ready to get his chain off if needed.
The Rider was silent and expressionless as he followed the agent.
How interesting, her soul, was. There was darkness within it, but it wasn't her fault.
If what she had done had been bad intentions for the sake of evil, then Daisy Johnson wouldn't exist no more.
Ghost Rider kept pace with her, kneeling down beside her.
The Demon's flames flickered and crackled in the growing wind.
He looked up and growled softly as a spatter of raindrops hit him in the eyes. SSSSTOP IT... he intoned in a voice that could not be understand by a human.

-_Daisy_-

Judging by the loudness of the voices the men were close.
Daisy heard the Rider growl and at the same time she felt rain hit her cheek.
"Fabulous... " she clenched her jaw and moved again.
There was three men and they all had their backs turned, thankfully, as she crept onward.
They all burst out laughing, sending a jolt of alarm through Daisy as she ducked beside a crate.
Then she saw it outside a small house, the van they'd followed earlier.
The building wasn't so much a house, more of a shack really.
It stood looking one-sided and fragile.
Pretty out of place, Daisy thought, and looked at the Rider as she pointed to it.
Then the group of men laughed again.
They sounded drunk and they were walking now, swaying dangerously.
One fell forwards and Daisy heard the crate crunch as he must have hit into it.
The other two burst out laughing.

Ghost Rider growled in disgust. Stupid men.
If these guys were guards, they were doing a terrible job.
In fact, the Rider wondered if even one of them was coherent at the moment.
He came up beside Daisy and glared at where she was pointing.
After a long moment of irritated, disgusted snarls, he unwound his chain.
The cool metal links hit the floor with an audible clatter.

-_Daisy_-

"Huh...w-what..." Daisy heard one of the men splutter as she watched drop the chains with a chilling clatter.
Daisy peered over the top of the crate as one of the drunks staggered backwards a few steps, looking dizzy.
The other froze on the spot and looked puzzled and the one that had fallen over sounded dazed by his groaning and jumbled speech.
Daisy wasted no time as soon as she was aware that the drunks had their and attention elsewhere she moved, staying down at first and then running to the shack.
