Lincoln nodded and closed the door behind her, locking it as they walked up to the entrance of the building. "So how long have you lived here? " He asked.

"all my life" ruth said. she watched lincoln from the corner of her eyes.

Lincoln nodded. "That's a long time to be stuck in one place. " He looked around the area, waiting for her to let them in.

Ruth unlocked the door and sighed lightly. "not really, it's a good place for me" she said as she walked into her apartment. she rubbed her eyes and put her bag down.

Lincoln walked into her apartment, he knew that he wasn't exactly invited in but it didn't really matter. "Well it's cute." He stated, looking around and making himself at home.

ruth watched him walk in and closed her mouth. she didn't need to ask if he was coming in or not. she closed the door and walked past him. she went into her bedroom and pulled open a drawer on took out her pills. she closed the drawer and poured out two pills into her palm. ruth walked out into the kitchen, climbing onto the counter to grab a cup. "do you want something to drink?"

(You don't have to bump. I do my rps in order when I have enough time to get on so when you bump I don't get to you later. I haven't forgotten. I've just been really busy today. )

Lincoln looked over at her, he had been looking at a painting on her wall. "A water would be nice." He gave her a small smile and walked closer before leaning on the wall. "Are you feeling better now?" He asked.

[I know, I was bumping so I didn't lose it because I wasn't going to come on around now but I woke up. I tend to abandon things if I lose them and Im lazy to use the search bar]


Ruth grabbed out two cup, filling them with water and taking the two pills. she nodded as she swallowed the pills. "yeah I am" she said, handing him the water. she bit her tongue gently and yawned silently.

Lincoln took the cup of water and took a sip. "Did you want me to go? You're home safe now." He spoke quietly, his voice soothing as he swirled the water in his cup.

"if you want, I really don't care" Ruth said and rubbed her templed. she swirled the water in her cup. she sighed, thankful she didn't have to work the next day.
