Hunter sighed, "Because he's Patrick's lover, and Patrick is, was, Nox's best friend."

Patrick shook his head, "You..." he growled a little, "Just save Toby."

Lark sighed and turned away, looking at Toby.

Nox sighed and nodded. He soon snuck down into the basement and looked at Lark. He grabbed Toby and ran him back to Patrick, setting him down in his arms. "There." He spoke. Toby hugged Patrick.

Patrick hugged him back tightly, "You are safe..."

Hunter grabbed lark to stop him from interfering.

"I am." Toby spoke as he hugged him.
Patrick's phone rang again.

Lark looked at Hunter. "Traitor." He spoke.

Hunter looked at him and whined softly, he let Lark go, "I am." he said, he turned and bolted, knowing he was the same level as the vampires.

Patrick growled, "What?" he asked with a snap as he answered, holding Toby close.

Nox saw Hunter run off and he ran after him.

"Patrick you traitor! Get home now." The leader snapped.

Hunter ran off pack territory, he whined and nuzzled Nox, "Are you okay?"

Patrick sighed, "How am I a traitor?" he asked.

Nox nodded. "I am." He spoke gently kissing his cheek.

"Disobeying orders." The leader snapped. "Home now, you don't need to come here but Toby does." He spoke.

Hunter relaxed, "We lost our home now." he said softly.

Patrick hung up, he looked at Toby, "I feel so important." he teased.

"It's ok. We can find somewhere else." Nox spoke as he began to walk with him.

Toby laughed. "We should head back." He smiled.
