"So you just barge into some ones home!?" He roared loudly. He stepped closer towards the old man. He reached out a clawed hand and grabbed the collar of the old mans shirt

Maurice tried to back away but it wasn't of any use "I'm sorry" he said simply, he was still extremely terrified "pl-please let me go" he said

Belle neared the gate. she spotted Maurice's hat just inside the gate and, getting off of Phillipe, briskly walked through the gateway and picked up the hat. She began to make her way up towards the castle.

Beast
The beast held the old mans collar tightly so he wouldn't escape. He yanked on it briskly to pull him closer. The beast lowered his head so the two were face to face. "You must pay for your crime" he growled at the old man.

"w-what do you want" he asked "w-we...uh...I haven't got much" Maurice stammered horrified. He had begun to shake in fear

Belle reached the castle door, pushing it open "Papa?" she called inside, it was rather dark and hard to see inside.

Beast
The beast let go of the old man when he heard the second voice. He turned his head towards the source wondering who was dumb enough to follow the old man.

"papa!" Belle exclaimed running over when she spotted her father. Her eyes had grow used to the light and she was able to make out much more, include the enormousness of the beast

Beast
The beast looked over at the girl as she ran to the old man. His lip snarled up in disgust. He crossed his arms and stood up to his full height. The long purple cloak covering a majority of his body.

Belle glanced up at the beast and froze for a moment. He was big, and rather intimidating, but she didn't dare let that keep her feet frozen to the ground. "Papa, are you alright?" she asked hugging him "wh-what happened to the fair?"

"mama! mama!" Chip exclaimed quietly as he hopped back toward the cupboard "It's a girl, there's a girl here mama"

Mrs Potts
"Shh child. I see its a girl but we must remain quiet or we'll upset the master" she whispered

Maurice
"Oh belle! I was on my way and must have took a wrong turn. Phillip led me here and bucked me off. I walked in and was confronted by this beast!" He said worriedly and hobble over to belle. He threw his arms around her and held her close.

Beast
The beast stared at the duo. He took particular interest in the girl. A girl was just what he needed to break the curse. But how could he get her to stay? He would need to think of something quick

"ok mama" he said. Chip staid placed next to his mother, but he continued to watch what was happening.

"oh papa" she said hugging him tightly before glaring at the Beast. She didn't say anything, but she was extremely angry. "C'mon papa, lets go home" she said standing up.
