Constellationpaw nodded in agreement, looking up lazily as he turned to his side. "Yeah. Stop talking to yourself. Please, some of us are still trying to sleep."

Solarpaw stared around, trying to make out anything. He tried to focus on his brother after he found his scent. Nothing. "G-guys...? Can you... see?"

Moonsong licked her paw, drawing it over her ear. "Sure. I'll be sure to tell the Clan so they don't attack you or anything."

Moonpaw smiled. "Thanks, Moonsong," she said, her eyes sparkling. "So, what's it like, being a leader and such?"

Nightlily yawned, stretching. Her purple gaze flickered around and her black pelt was all ruffled up with dead moss.

"Well, yeah. Why?" Galaxypaw asked, then turned and cuffed his friend's ears.

Solarpaw whirled around in shock, "Because I can't! I'm blind! I'M BLIND!" he cried, blinking his small blue eyes rapidly.

Moonsong shrugged, "It is not very different then being a regular cat. The main difference if the power... you're in charge of everyone and everything that goes on in your Clan." she explained carefully.

Moonpaw blinked. "So like... If you mess up, everything's on you?" she asked slowly.

Nightlily froze mid-lick, hearing the small apprentice's cries. "Oh great MoonClan, not again," she cried out. She hated it when cats became blind. It had happened to her apprentice who ended up falling to her death. She slowly went out of the mouth of her en and climbed over to the apprentices'.

Solarpaw sensed Nightlily approaching him, looking up at her, crying, "I can't see!" he whimpered, "What's going on?"

Moonsong nodded slowly, "Yeah... it's not always a good thing either. For example. If you send a cat out in battle and they die, it's all on you because you did it by force." she murmured.

Constellationpaw watched his brother, curling up next to Lunapaw. Solarpaw was so smart and calm, they had never seen him like this.

Nightlily sighed, running her tail over his eyes. "You probably just stood up too fast," she reassured. "It happens to me all the time. It normally doesn't take this long though..." Her head snapped around to Lunapaw and Constellationpaw. "Hw long has he been like this?" she asked them.

Moonpaw nodded slowly. "But.. what if a cat attacks your Clan, and then you send them out to fight him and his Clan, and say... A warrior died. Would it be on you?"

Moonsong's eyes clouded, "Yes. The Clan would soon forget, but some will never forgive you. Or never trust you again. Even as a leader there are cats who are out to kill you."

Lunapaw thought for a moment, "Last night he said something about his eyes starting to blur up. Only this morning has he woken up... blind..." she gulped, "Is he really blind, Nightlily? Is he not able to be a warrior anymore?"

Solarpaw blinked in shock, "What? I can't be a warrior? This is unfair!"

Nightlily sighed. "No, I'm afraid not, Solarpaw."

Moonpaw blinked. "But who in your clan would want to kill you?" She asked

Moonsong shook her head, "It's very complicated..."

Solarpaw cried again, "No! I wanted to be a warrior!"

"Well you'll just have to suck it up!" Nightlily snarled at the apprentice. "Life isn't fair! So just suck it up!"

Moonpaw sighed. "I'm here. You can tell me anything."
