Drimaethor took out his amulet and started thinking of his village. Why was this amulet so important? It had the royal family sigil on it but also two crossed blades behind the sigil. Hopefully on their journeys he and his friends could find out what this amulet is for.
"Maybe ill just mention this to Guzore for now, dont want everyone to freak out" and with that Drimaethor put back the amulet.

Guzore smiled as everyone claimed their treasure.
Wow, we sure have been in this mansion for a long time. How about we all go somewhere less haunted with murderous ghosts and more populated with people? We should also probably make sure Della's parents know where she is, now that I think about it. What do you guys think?

Della Collern/13/Color-Blind/Where: Gregal's Mansion?/With: Her team.
"Oh, right..." Della had mostly forgotten about her family, as well as the potions class she had been taking. I mean come on, adventuring was way cooler then potions class. "If we're going back to my place, I should pick up a few things too..."

Ferondir nodded. "We should go back to civilization, and her parents are probably worried sick. It must have been days since she joined us."
He adjusted the strap on his bracer, and realized he had an extra.
"Anyone want this? Perhaps you, since you chose the bow?" He held it out.
There was no point strapping it to his hook, since it was probably stronger than the bracer.

Alright then, let's go! We'll be sure to come back to this mansion later, of course. It's a pretty nice place and nobody's currently living in it.
Guzore and the others stepped outside the mansion. The fresh air and the blue skies and fluffy grey clouds were such a nice sight to see, Guzore thought. Wait a minute... grey clouds?
CRACK!
A lightning strike hit the lake below, and drops of rain began to pour down on everyone. Several more cracks of lightning could be heard coming from the ocean.
Well... that was SHOCKING!
Guzore waited a few moments for laughter, and continued once he realized he wouldn't be recieving any.
You know, I think it'd be a better idea to make our way to Arbor Harbor on land than boat with all this thunder and lighting hitting the water. But hey, look on the bright side! We might run into some cool land treasure or find more abandoned mansions. Is everyone ready to go?

Zeph strode out of the mansion, and down the stairs- observing the clouded sky above him.
The sky was gun leaden metallic grey with a sickly cast of green and the air felt heavy.
The wind was rustling overcast trees- sending crunched leaves scattering about the enviroment.
There was always something about storms that Zeph had liked.
Maybe it was the surging static in the air?
The reverberation of thunder that sounded so ominious?
The way the rain feels on his skin, matting down his hair usually untidy hair?
Maybe because it was just so... Alarming?
Maybe he would never know.
Zeph tilted his head down to look at how his cloak changed with the weather.
Apparently a storm like this made the gold lining appear light blue- and the black seemed to be more of a deep grey.
Neat.
Zeph looked now at his finger tips- apparently while he was in deep thought he was collecting some of the residual static from within the air.
Little jolts of static were now sparking from finger to finger.
He raised his hand just in front of his face, encaptured by the beauty of his owning magic.
I'm glad to have it back. He thought, sentimentally.
The distant roar of thunder- mixed with the surge of air through the trees teased Zeph back to reality.
Are we ready to go? Zeph spoke with a slight tinge of excitement in his voice.
I loaded my bag with books from the library, I think I've got everything I'll need. He patted his newly crafted holster for his Ice Rod, which was now securely fastened on the side of his bag- He was rather illustrious towards it.
Zeph glanced towards the inner pocket of his bag, which also had a new spot for his ambiently glowing stele.
He turned his head upwards once more, towards the rumbling sky.
Zeph now had an idea about what he liked most about the storm- It was careless, but still full of life. Full of energy.

Della Collern/13/Color-Blind/Where: Gregal's Mansion?/With: Her team.
Della jumped at the first lightning strike. She trembled slightly, looking around at the others. She was terrified of lightning storms, because she lived in Arbor Harbor and if it struck the water it could be dangerous. Or if it struck the boats. She clutched her bag tightly, then ran over to Guzore and hid behind him, deciding to remain hidden but to look like she wasn't scared.

Jakub looked at the sky and saw the familiar sight of thunderclouds, nothing he hadn't seen before. Once he heard word that the plan was to walk through the forest... In a lightning storm... next to trees... Jakub was shocked the idea was proposed.
I don't know about the woods guys... there is a lot of trees in there... and last time i checked lighning and trees dont mix well. The masts on my boat are specifically grounded to stop the conduction of electricity. plus the probability of monsters in the weather is much higher. I personally will be taking my boat for two reasons... one it wont survive this storm without me at the helm, and two its much safer out there from my experience.
Rex clapped and smiled.
Master right!!!!
Jakub looked again surprised that his little (well actually quite big) friend could talk.

Really, monsters are what you're afraid of? Zeph said, looking over towards the lake- where the waves were incredibly violent. Even in the lake.
I'd much rather take the monsters over a ship wreck. At least we can fend those off.
Plus Zeph spoke, with a sharpness to his voice- and a slight grin on his face.
If those trees catch on fire, we can fix that. He said, flicking his hand upward- aiming it towards the sky, clenched in a fist.
All the water within a 3 foot radius of himself slowed to a stop, floating in place. After a few seconds he had an umbrella of water hanging above his head.
Zeph flicked his index finger outwards, causing his staff to momentarily glow a bright blue.
The water froze, and then shot towards the forest.
Not hard at all.
He thought carefully for a moment.
The forest is definitely the safest option.
He wasn't sure if he really thought that- or if he just didn't want to get sea sick.

I still can't abandon my crew, and beside those wave are tiny compared to the waves i have rode in my time. The real question is do we want to worry about the dangers off the forest, or take our chances on the water with and incredibly skilled helmsman if i do say so myself. Everything is aligned perfectly fate has practically garenteed our safety if we chose to go back on the ship... the other option seems hazy to me
Jakub was confident that his point would reign the truest and he could bring his friends to chose the safer option.
