1x1 Roleplay Arya22 and Tigermeow

[Tigme]

Katelyn had closed her eyes, but sleep had yet to come when she heard movement. Turning her head, she saw that Lena was still awake, "Is everything alright?" She asked the younger woman.

[Arya22]

Lena shrugged. "I think. I'm not quite sure. I'm exhausted, but I can't sleep. But I don't know why either." she sounded confused.

[Tigme]

Katelyn sighed, "You're worried about this trip." She said, "And the dangers that will come as well as what he have already faced."

[Arya22]

Lena sighed. "maybe." she still sounded puzzled. "but how come everyone else doesn't? They fell asleep straight away, even Connor." she glanced at her sleeping friend and smiled a little.

[Tigme]

"People cope with stress differently." Katelyn told her, "Don slinks away from it, Connor flat out ignores it, and you... well, this is how you deal with it."

[Arya22]

(I feel like I'm Lena right now...
I'm probably doing the same as you right now, basing my characters on myself.)

Lena looked down. "and you?" she wondered. If she couldn't sleep, she might as well talk. Just then she realized she was keeping Katelyn awake and it wasn't nice, and decided to bid her goodnight soon.

seems likely. We all put a little bit of ourselves into our characters. Is everything okay?))

Katelyn was silent for a moment, thinking. "I distract myself from the issue." She finally answered. It wasn't too often that she thought of her own coping mechanisms.

[Arya22]

(I guess... All my friends are gone on a 1 week trip, to Germany... I wish I could have gone, so bad!...)

Lena nodded. "you should probably sleep, I'm sorry for keeping you awake." she said apologetically.

Woah, that sounds really cool! I usually can't go on trips like that because my family's pretty poor... Were you unable to because you came into the year so late, or?))

"It's fine," Katelyn said, "I will probably be staying up for a while longer if you need someone to speak with."

(Really? Thanks. I think I might put in what I've written of the Crimson necklace because I think I might have a bit more written. I had written it for NaNoWriMo.)

(I don't think they had to pay for it much...
But I arrived too late.
There's no-one for me to talk to at school now, since I managed to have all German friends. Of course there weren't many in the first place.)

Lena nodded and smiled a little. "thanks." she looked down for a moment. When she spoke again, her voice was soft. "how do you do it, when you see someone die you care about. When it's your fault?" the thought had been torturing her for a long time, but it was only now, in a time she didn't have to think of anything else, that she finally got it out.
