Just saying, but pigeons usually fly much faster than people, able to go over 120kph))

Copernicus began flapping his wings, and pushed himself out from Connor's hands. Connor get ready to follow him, but he was going much too fast that he'd be able to keep up. Realizing this, he began sprinting to try and keep up with the bird, "Copernicus, wait! Slow down!" He shouted, almost entirely forgetting what he was supposed to say to stop him.

[Arya22]

"it's time for a break!" Simon called, running after the pigeon. To his relief, Copernicus slowed and turned around, then flew back to them. Simon sighed and walked back to Connor. "we might need to get something for him to slow down." he muttered.

[Tigme]

Connor sighed, relieved but out of breath when Copernicus came back, "I think so too." he said, no realizing this must have been what Simon was thinking he may have forgotten.

[Arya22]

"what about a simple 'slow down'?" Simon asked. But he waited and looked at Connor before saying anything to the pigeon.

[Tigme]

Seeing that Connor had said that when trying to stop Copernicus, he nodded, "I think that'd work." he told Simon.

[Arya22]

Simon nodded and spoke to Copernicus. Then, knowing the pigeon had understood, he gave him back to Connor. "there you are, now you can go." he smiled.

[Tigme]

"Let's hope we can do it this time," Connor said softly, "Now, are you ready to lead the way?" once more, Copernicus leapt into the air, out of himself hands and began flying away. Although slower, the pigeon was still flying faster than they could keep up, "Slow down!" Connor shouted, hoping he would listen.

[Arya22]

Simon smiled as he saw the pigeon turn around, fly I'm a circle then begin flying again. It had taken some time and it was obviously his method of slowing down.

"then, go, and keep safe!" Lochan called, fear in his stomach. Would he ever see any of them again? Yes, he tried to convince himself.

Lena didn't waste time and started walking after the pigeon, her heart beating hard. They were going.

Knowing that the pigeon was closest with Connor, Katelyn let him lead the group through the forest.

Connor kept close to Lena, but kept his eyes towards Lena. This trip could be their past ever adventure, and he just hoped everything would go okay.

Don lagged behind the rest of the group, but wishing to be a part of this, but also keeping an eye out just in case.

Benjamin followed, more to the side. He was near the middle, but didn't seem to be part of the group. He was silent.
