everyrhing changed instantly. suddenly he was happy and then he regretted everything. "yeah.. you don't seem to be ready for anything..." he said sadly. instantly missing the touch that had a minute ago he had. he turned and walked out, into the bathroom he locked the door behind him. he felt his tattoo burning, but the pain just felt numb. his entire body felt nunb. he thought he would be able to do it, wait for him. but now he wasn't sure. juno poured his life into the relationship. he felt himself crying again but he was too tired to do anything so he just sat in the corner of the bathroom and cried.

After a few hours of letting Juno cry out his emotions, Cliff wandered over to the bathroom. He knocked on the door. "Juno, I think we need to talk." He said softly. "we can do this through the door, or face to face. I'm good either way."

juno just continued to sit there, his knees up to his chin. he started at the ground almost lifelessly. he had just told somebody all of his secrets then messed it up. when he heard cliff talk he let out a breath. great, he didn't leave. without getting up, he asked "what do you want to talk about?" in a almost hoarse voice.

"I know you're mad at me, but Juno... I just think I need things to go slower. I know this is gonna work out. You mean so much to me, and I feel like we're growing closer. I just need time to process each little step. That's all. It'll be okay.

"i am not mad at you. i'm mad at myself." juno said softly. "i.. i've never loved anyone, ever. i never loved my mom, i never had any other family to love. my mom never loved me and i don't have any family to love me. this is all i want. i'm sorry that i'm not being patient. but the forehead kisses and the occasional hug isn't.." he sighed. "i've waited my entire life to be loved and now where's somebody here to love me and they won't. they won't kiss me they won't cuddle with me they won't hold my hand in public and i just want.. love." he said and wiped the tears that fell.
