Coriander padded through the Fire Pack's territory, looking for Blaze. The main den around which the pack gathered was a large, airy cavern, with a multitude of wolves spread around and puppies playing. Coriander eyed the pups with a smile, walking by at a distance to avoid being swarmed by the agitated young wolves; he'd sent his own pup to go play earlier today, but quickly went back to a serious expression. He asked a couple of his packmates if they'd seen Blaze, and followed what they said to find the Alpha sitting at a rock outcropping with a great view to the forest.

"Blaze. Can we talk?" The timber wolf said as he approached and sat down at Blaze's side. He looked in silence at the scenario for a while before sighing and continuing in a subdued tone. "Listen... I know we've already had this conversation before, but I'm worried. The prey around this area is running out. The hunters are having a hard time finding enough for the pack. I know this territory has always been home to the Fire Pack, but if we don't start looking for somewhere else, next year we might be looking at a hungry winter. We need to leave this place."

Closer... closer... wait for the perfect moment, and then... pounce!
Ember threw herself onto the water, splashing everywhere and biting down blindly, trying to catch the fish she saw swimming on that spot. She came up without it, spluttering water and laughing. The river that ran near the main den was always full of things to bite and chase, which is why she spent so much time there. She got out of the river again and shook off most of the water drenching her grey fur, before stopping at the river's margin again, trying to spot another fish.

The lovely she wolf yawned and sat up, then stood up and shook herself off. She stretched a bit then looked to Blaze a moment. She heard Coriander and moved to find him out there, and tilted her head. "Hello," she said politely, blue eyes blinking a couple times and tail flicking.
