Many years ago, a pack of dogs came to a forest inhabited by wolves.The dogs have lost their home, and were in need of a new one. The Alpha of the wolf pack at the time was kind and generous, and allowed the dogs to stay in the forest. The wolf pack stayed on one side of the forest, and the dog pack in the other. The two packs lived separate and peaceful lives.

However, as time went on, hunters became more frequent and winters harsher. Prey became harder to find and less pups were being born each year. Tensions rose between the packs and border disputes became common. The one peaceful packs were now rivals, competing with each other for territory and food.

Some wolves and dogs want to go back to the peaceful times that their ancestors lived in, but others think differently. Some wolves believe since the entire forest used to belong to them and them alone, they should drive out the dogs and take the forest back for themselves. On the other hand, some dogs believe that they should fight the wolves and claim the forest as their's. Will the packs destroy each other, or will they make peace? Only time will tell.

Below are the RP rules that cannot be broken
One. All CS rules apply
Two. Try to stay active. I understand if you are busy but please let me know if you aren't going to be on for awhile. If you are inactive for a week or more without notifying me you will be removed
Three. Post all forms and keep all OOC on the discussion thread please!
Four. Drama is encouraged! If you have any ideas for anything big, feel free to send me a message!
Five. No powerplaying, godmodding, mary sues, ect.
Six. Wolfdogs can be born in the rp, but I prefer that you don't join as one
Seven. Fade to black when necessary
Eight. Omegas are not born omegas, they have to be given that rank for a reason
Nine. I will be accepting few loners. If you join as a loner, keep in mind that it is very unlikely that they will be accepted into a pack as the packs typically do not like outsiders
Ten. Pups will become trainees when they are a year old and become a hunter/guard when two years old

Below are the pack rules that can be broken, but the Alphas will punish you if your caught
One. The Alphas word is law
Two. No becoming mates with a loner or someone from another pack
Three. Omegas cannot have pups
Four. No crossing or hunting in another packs territory
Five. Pups, mothers, and elders are always fed first
Six. Be loyal to your pack

To the canines who live here, the forest has no name. The wolves live in the north, while the dogs live in the south. A long creek runs from the northwest to the southeast. The creek is shallow is most areas of the forest, but some areas of the creek can be deep, so keep an eye on pups. The forest is denser in the north where the wolves live, but not so dense that moving about is difficult.

Various animals inhabit the forest. Elk and white-tailed deer are what the canines commonly prey on. Moose are uncommon in this area, and are sometimes preyed on by the packs, but rarely due to their large size. Small prey such as rabbits are common, and some canines even try catching fish from the creek. The forest is also home to various other predators. Coyotes and red foxes rarely come near the packs, but can be a threat to pups. Bears are uncommon, but are unafraid to fight a wolf so be careful if one is in the area. Human hunters come to the forest later in the year, they do not hunt the packs but they do hunt the animals that the packs prey on.

It is currently spring! The snow has melted away by now and prey is becoming more abundant. It is cool in the morning and night but warm during the day. On some days it may even rain.
