The Workaholic
Putting work and career above all, this person
would rather be working right now. After all,
they have an important project that they should
be working on! They've rarely given themselves
time to relax and 'have fun' is not a phrase they're
familiar with. And, despite being sent to Pineridge,
they're determined to keep working.

Visitor of Family
This person hasn't visited their family in a while,
especially after they moved far from Pineridge a
long time ago. The only reason they're back is
because one of their parents have fallen seriously
ill, and this might be the last holiday with them.
However, they've noticed that something's changed
about the town... they just don't know what.

The Stranded
They didn't mean to spend more than a few hours
here, but after crashing their car into a tree in
order to avoid a deer on the road, while driving
back home from a vacation, they have to stay in
Pineridge, having no way for someone to get them,
and the two parts needed to fix their car not being in
stock with the mechanic or the mechanic's supplier.
Even more conveniently, they won't be getting the
parts for another two-three weeks because the
suppliers are on vacation.

The Investigator
A cop from a large city, always on the lookout and
alert. They're only here temporarily because they've
been placed here by their higher-ups, while
Pineridge's original head inspector has gone mysteriously
missing, and no one seems to know what happened.
They're the first to discover something off about
Pineridge, and are determined to get to the bottom
of whatever's happening.

The Tag-Along
They have no real reason to be in Pineridge, nor any
direct connections with anyone. They just came along
with one of the other visitors, to experience the
holiday season in Pineridge, and to also provide some
support for their friend that they tagged along with.
They've always been the 'sidekick', but now, it looks
like they're about to be pushed into the spotlight for
the first time.

The Newly Single
Everything changed for them when they caught their
ex-spouse of three years cheating on them, and then
let go from their job due to downsizing. So, they uprooted
their life and decided to move impulsively, upset and alone.
The result? Arriving at their new place in Pineridge. Well,
it's a hotel room for now, but soon they'll be moving into
a new house!

The Mayor's Son/Daughter
They've been in the spotlight since they were born,
essentially. At least, certainly in the eyes of the other
residents of Pineridge. They're highly regarded, though
also expected to act and be a certain way. This year,
they're going to be expected to give a speech and
officially open the Winter Fair. But the center of
attention isn't what they want...

The Carefree
Excitable and energetic, this person doesn't seem to
have much of a care in the world - especially when it
comes to celebrations. They love to spread the holiday
cheer, and is always determined to bring a smile to even
the most grumpy and sullen of residents and visitors.
They're like a ray of light in the world, but secretly
have their own demons that they're fighting.

The Manual Worker
Rugged and hardworking, this person is known to be
quite the handyperson around Pineridge and is rather
popular. It seems there's no end to their manual skills,
plumbing, mechanical work, and so on. Somehow they
frequently offer their services for free, but people insist
on paying them anyway, so it works out.

The Suspicious
They've lived in Pineridge all their life, and seem to be the
only one who gets a strange vibe. Somehow unable to leave,
they have made themselves fit in whenever possible, while
secretly trying to uncover whatever the small town may be
hiding. They've not made much progress, but the arrival of
several visitors that may well be able to also see through the
cheery exterior of the town could be the help they've needed.

The Childhood Friend
The one that seems familiar, like you've known them years
ago and just fell out of touch. The one that has never left
the small town while you went and followed your dreams.
Though oddly familiar, they really are the childhood friend
of the Visitor of Family. Though excited to see their friend
back, it seems that they haven't noticed the odd changes
in Pineridge. It's always been that way, you've just been gone
for so long. Right?

The Baker
They run their own bakery, and it is the most popular
bakery in town! Everyone goes there to get their fresh
bakes and bread, and they often have a variety of festive
treats for the season. The scent of fresh bread wafts down
the street, even if there isn't anything being baked at that
moment. But despite it's popularity, the bakery may well be
on the verge of closing down for... one reason or another.
It's not particularly clear, but it is certainly a mystery.
