the upper east side, present day. our story will follow the lives of manhattan's elite as they attend high school at
constance and st. jude's, private schools known for their top-notch education andundeniable link to drama. but
at these schools, high school drama is taken to a level never seen before. it goes beyond frenemies- there are full
social wars, publicized breakdowns, and even life and death scenarios. and of course, this school has one other
little element here to promote it all: gossip girl. an anonymous blogger who seems to get her kicks from exposing
every dirty detail of the students' lives. with this scenario and the bunch of firebrands we have on our hands, tension
is constantly in the air, and at any one moment, any student's life could go up in flames. it could happen to any one
of them, it's just a matter of time.

she's been in pageants since her diaper days. some people are saying it's gone to her head.
rumor: she smashed an ex-boyfriend's car during a public meltdown!

a mystery element. from a different town, the circumstances surrounding her arrival are cloudy at best.
rumor: she was expelled from her old school and had to leave town!

yeah, she's in a band. she's probably a lot more genuine than any of these girls, but she isn't liked by them.
