in the medieval court of gallavan, political and social tensions run long and
deep—but the court is at a breaking point. lower ranking nobility fight
to gain wealth and power, many of the lower class have lost faith in their
own royal court, distrust and uneasiness has seeped through the kingdom,
and the royal family is under extreme pressure to maintain peace.
illegal romances are flourishing, and the very integrity of society as all
know is rapidly changing. when the kingdom faces threats from the southern
kingdom of terrowin, the stability of an ancient dynasty is on the brink
of destruction.

just to give other roleplayers something
to work with (more is always better of course!)

this is very important to me, to keep it neat. feel

iv. all character intros and ooc talk should be

v. lgbt+ characters (and writers) very welcome of
course! because of the time, they will probably
be closeted to people who aren't their closest
friends, but forbidden gay romance is the best.
vi. reservations will last 48 hours for high ranking
positions (barons and up) and longer for lower ranks
vii. you can have only one character that is a
king/queen/prince/princess
(but u could have, for example, a queen, a baron, and a maid)
viii. otherwise, i'm capping it at three characters
for now (could be more in the future)
ix. pm me with any questions at all, i'm very

ON THE MATTER OF DISCORD
anyone who has discord, it is a requirement to at least
join the server, even if you can't be active.
this is where we will post additional character info, discuss
a lot of relations, and just generally chat about the rp.

𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 - the king outranks everyone else in this
court, the head of the kingdom, he leads alone. (1/1 spots filled)
𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 - the son and daughter of the king,
they have a grand amount of wealth and can ask for almost
anything with a snap of their fingers (3/3 spots filled)
𝐝𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 - the dukes and duchesses are of royal blood,
all cousins or distant relatives of the king or queen,, they are referred
to as: your grace, are quite wealthy, and are respected (2/4 spots filled)
𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 - they are the lowest form of nobility
who own large amounts of land that they have pledged to rule under
the king,, referred to as: lord ___ or lady ___ (1/4 spots filled)

𝐤𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 - can be men or women, they play a versatile role in the kingdom, most are
wealthy, although some poorer knights have fought their way up the ranks. in the court
of gallavan, they serve as bodyguards for royalty (5/8 spots filled)
𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 - they have a way with horses, and train and care for the many horses
of the wealthy (4/4 spots filled, but an extra can be added)
𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 - pretty self explanatory, usually rather lower class people. (3/4)

seriesof turrets and buildings.
here, you'll find the residential
home of the royal family, the throne
room, the court of gallavan—a
large meeting room where nobility
discusses current affairs, and vast
ballrooms for the rowdy parties the
castle often hosts. additionally,
smaller outbuildings serve as
homes for those who work for the
royal family.

𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭, "𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝" - a vast forest that borders the city the court of gallavan is in. because it borders the ocean it is rumored to be haunted by three sirens, whose voices lead travelers to their deaths, which lead to its common name.

𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 - this is the city that the kingdom resides in. it borders the ocean, and is a center for trade.

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 - magnificent views! beautiful beaches! be warned—the waves are huge. a truly beautiful place to ride to by horse.

𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧 - their enemy kingdom, although they have not truly gone to war with in a few decades, it is by no means a happy relationship—the kingdoms are only on trading terms. the kingdom of terrowin is ruled by king ode, and seperated from the kingdom of gallavan by an ocean canal that is a days length boat ride in length.
