Part one of this troubles had been completed, the unloading of his mare hadn't gone as planned and it wasn't long before a list of incoherent words came out of the young man's mouth. How stupid it was to take on such a horse when he knew his place at the ranch hadn't been a certain thing, the past few weeks had been a tornado of travelling, vet bills and an extremely stressed horse owner. "Stand up you cow." he hissed as the thoroughbred flew sideways in an attempt to avoid the imaginary troll who had apparently jumped out of the nearby pockets of grass. This was the beginning of Part two. For the short time Sparrow had been in his life, it was obvious that the mare had been abused in some way due to her apparent distrust of strangers and this combined with her skittish nature made new places a hell hole for the first few days.

Desperately, the young man glanced around for anyone who could possibly take Roman whilst he dealt with that troublesome mare of his, there was one girl in the pasture with whom he assumed was her horse but she seemed busy. Busy with what? That he didn't know but busy nevertheless. "Sparrow." he allowed the groaning in his voice to drag out showing the disappointment in his horse "Sometimes I think I should have just left you to go to the sales." he threatened as he gave a sharp tug at the leadrope in an attempt to remind the horse who the leader was. He didn't really mean it. About leaving her at the sale. Close friends of Fletcher would know that words couldn't explain how much he truly loved his animals, especially his horses.

The large draft snorted and put his head over the fence, smelling a mare. He flicked his tail before trotting away. He could careless about mares right now as his only concern was finding Scarlet. He neighed loud for her but like always, no reply
