-personality ; rhys struggles to create friendships due to his hard exterior but once you know him is is fiercely loyal and protective. he isn't really the guy to look at people and like them, they have to come and talk to him in order for him to gauge their personality and from then makes a decision. he can be a bit isolationist and flighty when it comes to interaction. he has ran away many times and quite often goes out on quiet trails with his bike to escape everything. he is very understanding when it comes to animals and will risk everything to help them. he is prone to angry outbursts but never lets it out on animals, people or inanimate objects are the ones who feel his wrath. his protective nature can lead to clingyness, though he doesn't ask to be around someone all the time, when they are out together he won't leave them alone, he will walk them to their front door and make sure they're safe. for the right person, he'll be the perfect key to their lock.
history ; he was raised in a seemingly perfect family with 3 other siblings, 1 a lot older, the other 2 much younger. he grew up in the suburbs and was always rescuing animals without his parent's permission, from online websites or off the side of the road. then he began researching horses when he saw some servery underweight horses on one of his first times running away. he got a job in order to buy them quality hay after reporting them to the authorities did nothing. he was arrested on many occasions for trespassing and this is what made him develop his already apparent anger issues. his record was no longer clean so he became rebellious and began shop lifting/petty theft, running away more, and underage drinking. he is now sober but still a familiar face in the station. he lost his job but was able to find another, nearly the same pay but nowhere near as enjoyable. with this money he began to train horses, not too much but he knew the basics, but he seemed to have a good connection with them. Somehow he ended up coming to a stables to work with his horses further and be sponsered for shows ect.

-history ; she was born in the spain and went into high end riding school cut and was transported to america by a rich man who thought that money meant knowledge. estrella began to become stubborn and rude due to her bad training and harsh methods. she was sold for a bottom dollar price and was bought by rhys before he trained her up to become an excellent horse, at least around him.
speciality ; she is particularly good at eventing but most notably show jumping and dressage. her elegance and speed make her a dream to ride and watch. she goes to the race track occasionally and can go quite fast. overall she is a good horse, she is a great horse on a hackamore due to past abuse with harsh bits.

-personality ; Starr is a funny, outgoing, and trusting young woman. she can sometimes be too trusting and this may lead to her being manipulated. she loves to be around animals and the people that she like. she is a very likeable person because she doesn't try too hard to be liked. She can be quite shy and get flustered when talking about her past. She also feel very uncomfortable wearing her VERY thick lenses to to how reduced her eye slight is. Mostly she wears contacts that don't work quite so well but enough to stop her from falling over things. Her sight is better in low light so enjoys early morning and late night best. Her eye sight deteriorated due to her misuse of her type 1 diabetes which she now manages well in order to attempt to keep her eye sight from getting worse.
history ;her parents separated when she was a small child. this meant she was constantly moving from the city [ with her mother ] and the family ranch [with her father] she always preferred her dad's place, he had a few horses and old donkeys near the house that were used for hiking and for herding the cattle that her father made his living off of. she trained the donkeys to do tricks and by the age of 10 was riding the most stubborn horse with ease. Recently she lost her father to terminal illness and has been struggling to keep herself stable.

personality ; very dedicated and proud. She loves her owner but sometimes gets worried when she tried to be too independent. The two are inseparable and she gets along well with horses as well. She keeps a distance and is respectful. She is an around lovely dog who knows her job. She isn't too strictly managed, especially when Starr is idle/chatting. She isn't amazing with other dogs but she does play with them every once in a while when she is off duty.
history ; born to be a pet but has made it as an amazing seeing eye (when starr's sight was worse, not used as much for that anymore, some of her eyesight has restored itself due to being more responsible with insulin.) and diabetes alert dog. She spend her first year and a half living and training with and around Starr so they know each other very well and she sleeps next her her at night to alert her if her blood sugar is low but its mainly about easy access to hugs (:

-history ; starr bought him very cheaply as a rejected foal with little hope of survival. he was bottle fed until he was able to be weaned off, and starr was thankful that she should finally sleep again. he was 4 before being ridden after the vet gave her the go ahead. she wanted to wait longer but knew she needed to compete to help pay for his board. he learnt very quickly and has always been close to starr, some nights she even has to sleep in his stall because he doesn't want her to leave. he has never been on a bit for more that 5 minutes, the only time he had one in his mouth was when someone at her old barn wanted to ride him and decided that no permission and a badly fitting bridle was a good combo, they quickly learnt their mistake.speciality ; he is great at medieval reenactment, XC, tricks, and dressageproblem areas ; show jumping

history ; used as a trail mule and was abused by owners and tourists. he then began getting a lot slowing and becoming an expensive problem so was sold at auction. from then people haven't had patience with him until Starr bought him.
