nix calmed his racing heart,
slightly thrown off by it, "you said his name
was astaroth?" he asked, stepping down and
scanning the stall names, looking for the
the horses stall. nixon stopped when he came
to a stall labeled "Astaroth." he glanced over
at the male, and gestured with his head
to come over, "here you are, I don't
think there are any other horses named
astaroth here." he said, a slight tease in
his voice as he went ahead and pushed the
door open for him.

gray winced as it reached the ground,
hearing someone talk to him, "y-yea, uh, sorry about that."
he blushed softly, looking at her, before reaching to the
ground and lifting the saddle up once more, trying to get
a more secure hold on it, "I'm sorry-" he said again,
clearly embarrassed by what just happened. the girl
meant no harm of course, but grayson was shy
around most people, especially females.

avery let out a soft chuckle as he led asta into the stall. "true. i never actually meet another horse that had a name like his before." avery replied with a small smile. the stallion let out a snort and held his head high, as if he was proud of having a unique name. avery couldn't help but let out an unmanly giggle at his horse's action before he cleared his throat with and embarrassed blush. with his attention still on the stallion, avery spoke in a soft voice before glancing a bit at the other male as he unhooked the lead rope. "my name is avery."

nix listened, a small smile
forming on his face as he did so. he watched
as the males stallion held his head high, and
he let out a chuckle, along with the other boy.
nixon looked over at him, making eye contact
as he told nix his name, "i'm nixon." he stared
at avery for a few seconds, trying to keep
his name in his mind, "uh, I'm sorry if I
forget. I'm not really good with names." he
said, a slight hint of embarrassment laced
his voice. nix realized how different avery was
compared to him, they were almost opposites.
avery seemed like a sweet guy, something nixon
thought he didn't have. he let out a sigh, "do you
need anymore help?" he asked, glancing over at him,
worried that there was hostility in his voice.

"if it's alright with you, I may need some help at my trailer,
I need to back my bike out of it." avery said as he rubbed asta's nose before walking out of the stall. he turned a bit so that he could glance at nixon. "sorry if you get frightened by my dog, he is pretty protective of me but he really is a sweet boy." avery added with an apologetic smile.

Rhys could tell this new person was a true horse lover, as he hoped everyone else here was as well. He gave a smile, not one to challenge or match the other boy's but more than what he gave to most people. He smiled as he talked about some horses being happier than others, he looked of to Estrella who was in a huff with him, she stood square, tail flicking and ears back, her face was pure annoyance embodied. He let out a short laugh that was much louder than he wanted it to be and instantly went red. He hoped the boy would break the silence and answered "Um-oh, yep, he's my horse, Atticus." He smiled, hoping his tomato face wasn't too noticeable. "I saw you put a horse in here before, an absolutely beautiful horse" He added, trying to think of the most normal things to say.

She vaulted over the fence, followed by Lola. They walked along the fenceline, Starr's fingertips grazed the wooden dividers.
She hummed to herself, she had her contacts in so could see to a good extent, and with that image she was able to watch a blur about an arena's length away shift into focus as she walked over to see a girl on a fence. She followed the girls gaze towards a beautiful appy, but had the body of a Damien. She audible gasped, the horse was gorgeous. He leaned on the fence near the girl,
looking to her for a moment before looking back to the horse "He looks amazing!"

Johnnie didn't mind the louder than it should have been laugh. It was a happy sound and that's all that mattered to him. "He's very friendly and I appreciate that. Nothing's worse than a field chock full of grumpy horses. A couple is ok, but when the whole herd is a grump it just gets sad" he said with a soft laugh of his own. When the boy brought up Chloe he looked into the field to check on her, seeing her running around still and greeting new horses, just having a ball of a time. His smile grew before he spoke. "I'm sure she'd thank you for the compliment. I love most horses, but beauty is an aspect that I'm fond of. I like to have a flashy horse to bring around and catch eyes." He explained. "She's a good horse, just lacks much of a brain under saddle."

Xyla felt her smile fall as someone spoke beside her with a gasp to top it off. Really? She sighed, but did reply with words instead of being a huge downer for now. "He better be for the price I paid for him" was all she said. Her eyes kept to the stud as he walked over, curious of Starr and Lola. She didn't command him away, letting him come say hello for now. Maybe it would shut the girl up and get her away quicker.

He smiled at the complement to Atti. "He's come a long way, he used to be scared of being close to people and now he begs for scratches, as you now know" He grinned, looking at his gelding , he was so proud of how far both of them had come and he loved them truly. When the boy spoke he looked up to him before turning towards the mare, his eyes flicking towards her. "As long as you lead her in the right direction, there is nothing wrong with that" He said, turning back to him with a smile. "What discipline do you do? he asked, trying to keep the conversation going but the awkwardness lay thick on his voice. He wanted to make friend but if he didn't it wasn't the end of the world for him, he just wanted a trail ride friend.

Her face dropped at the girl's response. Oh man, just wait until she sees Tiger, she'll throw a tantrum. se thought, raising an eyebrow at Lola. She saw the horse walk towards her, she gave Lola the down and wait commands. The shepherd was used to getting close, going under or over, or standing up to lean on the fence. She didn't know the horse so decided she had made the best choice. He held out a flat hand whilst rummaging her pockets for treats, she found half a one, partly stale but still tasty she would imagine. She thought it best to ask, not knowing dietary needs and this girl seemed moody. She decided to ignore her first comment and asked "Can I give him a treat?" trying to be positive but there was a slight edge to her voice.

Johnnie chuckled and nodded. "Which is good, because I don't mind handing out scratches to a handsome horse." He said with a happy tone, giving the gelding the attention he wanted now, just happy to be around equines so friendly. As he thought about Chloe again his smile became alittle sheepish. "Well, I just have to be mindful of who I have ride her. She tends to go where ever she's told, regardless of the danger. You can point her at a ten foot wall and she'll try to jump it. Her rider just has to know her limits and be mindful that she'll do whatever she's asked, even if it's certain death." He explained, shaking his head alittle. It was a weird personality trait the horse carried. When asked more about himself he perked right back up. "I'm an eventer. More so for my show horse, as Chloe tends to just like Cross country and trails." He explained more, then turned to Rhys. "How about you?"

Xyla saw her face drop from the corner of her eye and smirked just a bit, glad to have an affect on her. She felt obligated to keep Mystic on display for everyone to see. He was her pride and joy, and easily the horse worth the most just for his lineage and background. When asked if she could give him a treat, she looked to her stallion. Knowing he just wanted to make friends. She sighed and kept her snotty tone of voice. "Go right ahead." It didn;t matter to her, Mystic was a big built horse and a few treats here and there had no affect on him.
Mystic stopped at the fence, swinging his big head over to greet the girl. When she offered her hand he gave it a quick sniff before moving to rub his forehead on it, just trying to relieve an itch and get attention at the same time. He flicked his tail and gave a sturdy kick to the ground as a fly pestered him, but overall he was just chilling and making friends. Something he couldn;t do with other horses.

he got kind of nervous at the mention of
a dog, but decided to act like nothing was
wrong, "Oh- oh yea, no I won't get scared.
It's all good." He cleared his throat, breaking
the eye contact avery had made, "I didn't
really suspect, uhh, someone like you to
have a motorcycle," nix frowned, realizing
that wasn't necessarily the best way he
could of said that, "I mean- you just-
don't look like a biker." he internally
face-palmed, knowing that wasn't the
best way he could of explained that again.
"sorry- let's just, yea." nix tried his best
not to be awkward, but c'mon, it's nixon.
he shuffled away from avery, and moved
towards the entrance of the stable.

"a lot of people have told be that as well." avery said with a light chuckle. he followed after nixon with a gentle smile, he was use to people telling him that he didn't look like the motorcycle type. all he did was smirk and shake off the comment. it didn't bother him because his parents told him the same thing. avery had a thing for motorcycles, he liked the rush he felt when he rode them.
