fallon tilted her head slightly at Carlisle's response to her question. she knew it was rather bold, but she didn't think that it meant that much. besides, it didn't matter who escorted who. they were equals. KJ sighed in frustration, growing irritated. on top of that, the darn dog came into close proximity of him and it made Kj want to scream, but he held it all in. "Ladies, it's fine. Now please." His voice came out harsher than he had meant it to be but he needed them to hear him. KJ closed his eyes for a moment, letting out a slow breath. It would be okay. KJ inched away from the three of them, desperate to get away. He just needed some space to think to himself. KJ knew that they were all trying to be nice, but he hated being pitied. Feeling weak. They were human, he knew, but still. KJ excused himself from the dining room and into the hall, breathing heavily.

Harper frowned. She shooed Tora away and watch him walk out. "Well. See you later." She said to the others, she left the dining hall as well, passing by Kj. She nodded her understanding and tossed a ball down the hall, letting Tora bound away. She waved her goodbye to Kj, realizing he needed some peace. "Catch you later." She whispered before hurrying after her dog and outside. She laughed and threw the ball over and over.

A smile grew ear to ear on her face upon pondering the idea of adopting one of his cat's little kits. The horse took off and she couldn't help but feel so alive and free as the wind flew through her hair. "It's so beautiful outside...I missed this feeling." she said aloud.
