"hello alia." she said, giving her a half-smile. knowing that those smiles are as fake as the wigs at the salon down the road, she looked back down and decided to keep drawing. with one ear still listening, she drew the rest until it was done.

what an airhead.. she thought while adding the details to her paper. rory would really be surprised if he said yes to that. it wasn't as if she had much else to do. however she skillfully brought a thick book along to stealthily avoid any conversation unless it's really interesting. she found the topics of boys and makeup to be a big bore nowadays. she smiled faintly to herself drawing curves to get the full detail of the dog's paws.
