charlie thought about it for a moment. he didn't actually remember much of his childhood, besides getting into trouble and helping his father with hunting. shaking his head, he responded. "the questions are fine... and, no. nothing really forced me to hate them, i guess i just do." he told the stranger. 'did he even tell me his name...? did i tell him my name??' he questioned himself, attempting to remember correctly.

arli looked back to freya, nodding. he turned back to his brother, his smile fading slightly. "i do have some duties to attend to at the moment, but i promise to see you later?" he offered. arli felt like a jerk for having to leave him so quick to seeing him, but he wouldn't turn on his decision to be king. that including all the meetings and duties.

Ramza was a bit taken back when the other said "hate". He could see a dislike of or a fear of but hate? Then again, just because he did not understand it meant that he should judge the other. There were things out there he hates, that he thought others would find wrong to hate. At least he minded not the questions, so that was good, as Ramza sometimes just rambled on. He was quiet for a bit, though, as he looked at the land as they walked. "Tell me, what do you think of the empire having now be broken into two kingdoms?" He questions, wondering what those of each kingdom truly thought of it. People who were once of one land were now of two, meaning families could now also be of two different kingdoms instead of one empire, or friends who were knights now loyal to different lands.

"ah, meetings. yer favorite past time," marlie chuckled, knowing full well his brother despised them. "it's no biggie, i'm sure yer friend here can fill me in on what's been happenin' recently," he gave Freya a slight smile, though his thoughts soon brought it down. is that really all anyone see's me as? a kingslayer? a traitor? he knew it shouldn't bother him, but in all honesty, it did. myr meowed from the corner, suddenly realizing that there was dogs in the vicinity and wandering towards them.

Freya couldn't help the little smile that tugged at her lips, almost unnoticeable. She couldn't help but be glad that her King, her best friend was going to be separated from the man who tried to kill his own father. Freya was ready to escort Arli to the meeting for the sake of keeping him company, but also protecting him from any threats. Clearly the castle guards weren't competent enough. Hearing Marlie say she could catch him up she quickly spoke up, "I'm sure there are people in town who would be better suited to tell you about what has happened since your banishment," Freya looked to Arli, "shall we go?"

A very good price indeed, at least that’s what his master had told him. He was the one who made the deal, Tyrell was the one to actually craft the sword, since Jarin had enough other things to do, and the journeyman had a knack for the art of engraving, so he let him do it because such talent shouldn’t be ignored. Mercer nodded and brought the sword back to the anvil, to continue bringing it into perfect shape.
"'Tis been requested by a knight from a noble house. I would rather not disappoint a man such as him. Or even worse, disgruntle him", he replied, looking up from his work as he was speaking. He imagined it to be rather unhealthy to anger a knight, or any customer, really, as that would also mean he'd anger the master.

the raven haired girl walked alongside the shadows enveloping the 'sidewalk' that lay beside the cobblestone roads, her gaze flickering in all directions as if she was looking for something, or quite possibly someone. she didn't want to be noticed by any of her latest victims she'd yet to steal from as she realized a few of them walk in front of her, seeming to haven't noticed the girl yet. raven let a mischievous smirk lightly form on her lips before swiftly walking up to one of the people and beginning to pickpocket them, before stepping backwards and letting them walk on while she observed the newly stolen riches she held in the palms of her hands. a golden watch, still ticking; a silver necklace, with a sapphire pendant attached; and lastly of all a small bag of coins, this indeed was a good 'grab' but as soon as yelling was heard from the person that she'd stolen from, the girl darted off into a nearby alleyway before turning the corner and running out into another road, sunlight was scattered across the ground, and it was very bright even in the chilly weather. the thief smiled a bit before beginning to walk down the non busy road happily, with her treasures still in hand before becoming shoved into her right pants pocket. "today's a good day for a thief, hopefully. as I do hope I don't run into any guards..." she stated simply not really caring that people started to switch their gazes over to her, their expressions showing clear shock yet also anger.. raven looked over to them before beginning to whistle a bit and turning another corner, hoping to get away from their glares.

charlie merely shrugged. "i'm not really the one to ask, i only go into town to just sell the extra fish i catch, then use the money i got to buy whatever i need." he told him, not really sure if he should have. he wasn't out-right saying, 'hey, i'm considered a criminal in this place, so you might want to just not let me come with you into town.' he thought with a sly smile.

arli sighed as freya showed obvious dislike for marlie. however, he didn't blame her, some part of him was wondering what was going on in marlie's head, or if he might snap and try it again with him or his siblings in the next kingdom over. "freya, if it'll make you feel comfortable, you can follow him around to make sure he doesn't do anything you don't like." he offered. "either way, i'm leaving now for that meeting, the augustine that's here might be getting ticked on waiting for me." he added as he left the room, only the little puppy fogu following him. fudu stayed to stay with his brother, remembering him from before. he came across lady scarlet, assuming she's here for the meeting instead of her mother or father. "greetings, miss scarlet. has the castle staff accommodated you in my absences?" he questioned, a charming smile lightly on his face, the small dog sitting behind him with some bored movements.

marlie's smile grew huge as he looked to freya, crossing his arms. "well, king's right. ye don't want me raisin' hell around the castle, now do ye?" he chuckled, clicking to myr. the cat was hesitant, showing that he had somehow ticked her off, before rushing to his side and clawing her way up his arm at a speedy pace. "and ye wouldn't dare break ol' arli's rule by leavin' me, now would ye, noble," marlie was still royalty, he had the blood in his veins, and he wasn't about to let her forget it.

"So if you just go into town for that, then where do you stay?" Ramza questioned. He was not one to judge others, he just wondered. After all, what much did he have to judge others, a former prince now living as a nomad with no true home. Perhaps other would still see his home as where he was born, and his father's former kingdom, even if it was now two, but for him, there was no home to truly return to. He glanced before them, as the village town came into view slowly. "Are you sure that I cannot do anything to repay your help?" He asked, wanting to let him know that Ramza did feel like he had helped him, and wanting to see if he needed anything. After all, he still felt a bit bad about ruining his fishing. Though, he knew not when they would part and wanted the offer to be spoken first.
