The seventeen-year-old boy watched the car driving towards the house. His little dog, Max, sat on his lap and barked excitedly. The car soon stopped and Adam opened the door. He got out, crushing some snowflakes with his shoes. He kept holding Max as he knew the dog would otherwise disappear into the snow.
