Suggestion for Trading System

Um, yeah. I have a suggestion for the trading system that might make things more convenient ...

We can enter a message to our trading partner, but they only see it through PMs. I think we should be able to see it on the actual trade page on the main Chicken Smoothie site, because sometimes you'll say, "I want one of these four pets," and put up four choices for one of their pets, but the other person thinks they mean all four for their one, so they cancel the trade without reading the note in the PM. So I think that having the message on the trading screen ... unless we already do and I just missed it all these times, in which case I would feel really stupid ...

Yeah.. I admit I feel a little embarrassed because I reject an absurd trade only to find that the message attached to it was "edit as you see fit" or "Check through my trades" and I thought it was a begging trade.

Ooh, nice suggestion :3 Also I'm not sure if "thank-you" messages are actually sent to a trader when his trade is accepted. I know there's a place to enter our "thank you" messages when we accept the trade, but I've never ever once received a thank you message from someone who accepts the trade. Not that I'm looking for thanks...I've just been wondering if anyone actually receives messages after the trade has been accepted. x3

This is a great idea, I should make it display those messages on the trade pages too.

I just tested the "thank you" message and it didn't seem to work! I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong.

EDIT: It was broken! D: I hope this didn't cause too many people to think that their trading partners were rude. The trade cancel messages didn't work either. They're both fixed now.

But, sometimes they are convient, especially in telling little newbies 'Hey, that isnt a fair trade.'

I dont mind the way it is, but the other way would be nice too.
But, I dont care if you have comments or not. Nobody seems to care for reading them until after they Decline/Accept the trade.
So, either Tess's way, or this way.

I agree. I'm grateful for the 200 message limit but often, I have to go through a ton of "junk mail" just to see which messages were the ones I wanted to keep. Also, I do have a tendency to check my CS pets' status and trades before I visit the forums so I often get the message too late. Just seems ummm.... inconvenient? To have the message not a part of the actual trade system, but I do understand why and it does work.

I agree as well. I would want the Trade PMs to not exist anymore, but then still be able to read a message on the trade screen ... Good idea, Tess. Half the time I don't read the PMs until after the trade, so I admit I am guilty myself. xD
