So I'm not new-new to this site. But I've never made a post, and when I went to send a message to someone i said I needed to make a post to be approved by the mods?

Do the mean a whole topic like this or just a generalized post?

I do not know how the forums work, so apologies if this is the wrong place or thing to do.

When users first join the site, they are added to a Newly Registered Users list, which restricts your ability to post/send messages - your first message(s) are reviewed prior to posting on public forums. This is just a measure to minimize potential spam. ^^
Now that you are a fully Registered User, you should have the ability to post normally and send private messages and messages in trades.
