Easter egg event question

I have been collecting eggs and trading them in for the pets, but Im a bit confused about the lambs? Can you only get one type of lamb from it or has my luck just been bad? :d Ive done it 3 times and gotten the same one, so now im worried about trying it again, thanks for any help!
