what engine (?) is the summer event map made in?

trying to make a point and click style game for a class lol and i dont want a character in it and cs summer event maps have like the exact thing im going for!
searched the forums a bit and the faq and the wiki but couldnt find anything!

probably just html and/or css. they're just images (iirc gifs specifically).maybe javascript, since the oekaki is made with that if i recall. but you could definitely get something the same or very similar with just html, even if it's just tiled images. i'm not very well-versed with the stuff to be able to tell you via inspecting, but you can find summer events on the wayback machine.

the older ones are a bit broken (though that could also just be for me), but here's the internet, summer camp, and lost sea events as examples.

cool! thank you so much, hadn't thought about checking the wayback machine! i missed the internet event when it came out, looks super cool
i gotta get more familiar with the languages i think lol
