Problem with my messages

So.. my messages thing was completely full when I received 3 new messages. The thing on the top of the page where it says Messages is stuck to Messages (3 new). I don't know how to get rid of it. I deleted all the old messages and it's still there, and it's quite annoying.

Has anyone ever had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Have you tried clicking this, if it shows up on your screen?:

[link] Release all on-hold messages… [link] they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.

Agree with what Ocean Plumeria said. If that doesn't it's probably a coding glitch beyond my help

Where would I find that? I looked around a little but I couldn't find it. I've used the desktop version and and mobile one.
