Suggestion for the pound event [If continued next year]

Oh no, I meant only one can be adopted at a time, but the rarer it is the longer the time inbetween before you could adopt another of that rarity

As a better example (For this event):
For a Very Rare you'd have to wait two hours before you could adopt another
Rare: one hour
Uncommon: Half hour or maybe less
And commons are common so normal time applies.

This kind of cooldown would have to be modified to work on the normally timed pound, but I can see it being a nice addition there as well

I like this idea but I doubt anything will be changed about the event since it's only going to last a few hours now. Perhaps if it happens again these could be implemented to make things a little fairer! (:

I think it could also be useful for the normal pound, times would just need extended
Like instead of two hour wait time for VR it'd be maybe two days

I really don't think this is necessary.
The pound isn't a rare farm, and the pound is meant to give pets new homes. Just because some were unlucky (it is all just luck), that doesn't mean to system needs to give everyone rares. And just because some were lucky to get multiple rares, doesn't mean they should be punished in any way.

And this kind of thing is more to prevent rare farming, its not a punishment at all (not anymore than the pound is already, since even if you pick a bad pet you still have to wait)

In the regular pound it's far more based on luck, so I don't think any extra cooldowns are really needed for it. Everyone has an equal chance at it which is arguably more fair. For the shorter flash pound event I definitely love the idea, but for the regular schedule I don't think it's needed.^^

I do hope they do another one like it someday though
