Alright so I'm hearing that as long as i use a CS pet overlay and put on the edit itself (image credit to www.chickensmoothie.com) i'll be alright?

If you're using images from Chickensmoothie itself, you need to be following the rules here. Most edits using the images of the pets themselves isn't allowed.
