"Steal your soul" links; ANSWERED MODS MAY LOCK

I know a while back there was a fair bit of discussion about whether they were allowed or not, but for the life of me I cannot remember if they were actually made to be not allowed or not.
I know they aren't allowed to be disguised as "Free Pets" or whatever, but are they allowed otherwise?

I looked around a lot but I couldn't find any conclusive evidence as to if it was allowed or not.

So it would be nice if someone would be able to correctly inform me.

Oh, okay, thank you for your help.
I was just wondering because someone I knew had one and apparently they got a board warning for it, and it was just linked with a "Click here"

if the site is deemed inappropriate for young children then you shouldn't be linking to it regardless. Some of those sites get constantly reported as 'too scary' so even if you literally say 'this is a steal your soul link' you could still get in trouble for linking to such a site.
