So I was just dressing up my Cinnamon roll here, and thought of some really great puns to go with his outfit:
Then it hit me- I don't think we've had a western/cowboy themed Summer Event!
So here are some of my ideas. I would be utterly delighted if the CS staff liked them enough to implement them in some way this year! "Tickled pink", as some might say!
That's all I have for now!
I just hope this maybe sparks some interest among the admins & mods of CS!
Thanks for reading!
"Alright, sticky 'em up!
Don't anybody move- this here 's a rolledup!
Don't none of y'all bake me angry now!
Just put the C$ in the bag and 'n one gets burnt!"

Stalls, Attractions, and Event Areas
Edge of Town
Items required: Fresh Water, Gold Nuggets, Anti-Venom
Items awarded: Snake pets, clothing {women & men}, various potted cacti
Here we meet a young adventurer, who although is raring to find his fame and fortune out in the world, is a tad under-prepared to do so. He forgot to pack some Anti-Venom in his medical kit, which is necessary if he encounters some of the deadly snakes that make their home in the deep desert wilderness. He'll also need some Gold Nuggets for his travels so he can pay for room and board when he passes through other towns. And of course the biggest rookie mistake of all, he's also forgotten to pack Fresh Water. If you bring him the required items, he'll repay you when he returns from his adventure!
~Every time you give him these items, he's gone for 30 minutes, then returns with items from "the outside world"
"Miracle" Cure Stall
Items required: Fresh Water, Ginger Ale, Root Beer, Sarsaparilla
Items awarded: Anti-Venom, Hair Tonic
You are greeted by a smirking, slick, & obviously underhanded salesman with one of the most dashingly-curled moustaches you've ever seen. Turns out that two of the main ingredients in his "patent pending" Anti-Venom is Ginger Ale & Fresh Water, and his "miracle" Hair Tonic is based solely on Root Beer & Sarsaparilla! Although you question the salesman's business practices, he offers you a bargain you can't refuse. He'll give you a fresh bottle of Anti-Venom or Hair Tonic free of charge if you bring him the ingredients he needs to make it.
.
Sheriff's Station
Items required: Wanted Posters
Items awarded: Deputy outfits, wanted poster items
Here we meet the kindly {albeit slightly bumbly} Sheriff, who seems to need our help! Unfortunately there was a dust storm a while back, and it blew all of his wanted posters across town! If you return 5 of them to him, he'll make you an honorary deputy sheriff, and award you one set of Deputy Outfits {shirt, vest, bolo tie, hat, boots, and badge}.
{4 different sets?}
Later, the Sheriff mentions to you that he's seen a dark stranger on the cliff overlooking the town, and would like you to provide a physical description of him so he can bring the suspicious person in for questioning. You are given a blank "wanted" poster & several "sketch" designs to put together on it to make your own wanted poster! Stay true to the stranger's identity, or create a farcical one!
Dark Alleyways {4}
Items required: N/A
Items awarded: Tumbleweeds, Dust Clouds, Wanted Posters
There are several alleyways in town that can be checked every 15 minutes for randomized Wanted Posters, Dust Clouds, or Tumbleweeds.
Saloon
Items required: N/A
Items awarded: Root Beer, Sarsaparilla, Ginger Ale, Fresh Water, Playing Card Set, "shifty" eyed contacts
You are cheerfully greeted by the barkeep, who is more than happy to meet a new friendly face. As piano music tinkles in the background, you are treated to the Keep's "almost famous" home-brewed beverages- Root Beer, Sarsaparilla, Ginger Ale, or the always popular Fresh Water. You can come back for another drink on the house every hour- after all, token fetching is thirsty work!
Near the back of the saloon, there's a group playing what looks to be poker. The rough and rugged bunch, upon being approached, are actually quite inviting! They even toss a deck {give or take a couple} of cards your way!
Bank/Post Office
Items required: Gold Nuggets
Items awarded: Coins, scars, grimaces, stubble, moustaches, dirt splotches, make-up {such as eyeshadow, blush powders, & beauty marks}, wigs, bandanas, various hats, gold teeth, "wanted" poster background
The dual Bank/Post Office is run by a timid but kindly man. At the bank, you can exchange your Gold Nuggets in for coins. In the Post Office section, you are given several fun dressup items to make your pet look like a wanted criminal! Send a photo to your friends! Let's just hope the good townsfolk don't get the wrong idea if they see it :S
Shady Cliffside
Items required: Wanted Posters, Gold Nuggets
Items awarded: Horses, Saddles, Bridles, cork guns {Rifles & Pistols}
Upon reaching the Cliffside {about 2 miles away from town}, you see a stranger clad in dark clothing under the shade of a large cacti grove. You find out he's the outlaw bandit leader of these parts, and he doesn't take too kindly to you returning all of his buddies' wanted posters to the sheriff. If you give some to him {along with a small "Gold Nugget tax"}, he'll reward you for "doing the right thing".
Cattle Ranch
Items required: Fresh Water, Tumbleweeds, Hair Tonic
Items awarded: Cows, ponies, bulls, lasso ropes, spurs, equine "hay"
At the nearby Cattle Ranch, we meet a hard working woman who seems very upset about something. She explains that her husband is probably down panning for gold at the river instead of helping her with the cattle. The husband is indeed down at the river panning for gold, but not for the reason you might think- he's bald, you see. He wanted to find enough gold to afford a bottle of Hair Tonic for himself, but it hasn't been going very well. If you return with a bottle of Hair Tonic from the Miracle Cure Stall, he'll return to the ranch and give you full access to the riverside!
Seems the two still need help on the farm, so if you bring them some Fresh Water & Tumbleweeds, they'll reward you with pets & items!
Riverside
Items required: N/A
Items awarded: Gold Nuggets, Gold Panning Items, Lanterns
After giving the rancher his hair tonic, you now have access to his secret riverside gold panning area! You find some leftover Gold Panning Items there- perfect since you wanted to do just that!
You can pan for gold once every 30 minutes.
Lineart/Colour Edit Suggestions
Horses & Ponies
More "realistic" colourings? Perhaps braided and "wild" manes & tails?
Maybe with some dirty/dusty hooves & legs?
Cows
Same as the horses & ponies, it would be great to have more "natural" coloured cows.
Some dust and dirt wouldn't hurt!
Bulls
Here come the tricky line-art edits.
I think to make bulls, it would be amazing if somehow a line edit of the Malk Fox could be done.
If done correctly, the line edits could be similar to a "bucking bronco"!
Snakes
I'd love to see snakes such as rattlesnakes, copperheads, & cottonmouths as adoptable pets!
& again with the tricky line edits! I believe Eastern Dragons would make great snake bases, both regular & PPS!
That's all I have for now!
I just hope this maybe sparks some interest among the admins & mods of CS!
