Hello everyone

I'm Dr. Ortega, CEO and head scientist of AltGen Labs.

At AltGen Labs, we work with the concept of temporal branching and alternative

dimensions to be able to empirically test and experiment with the theories of

speculative biology.

In recent years we have managed to isolate what we call a "pocket dimension" and

have been conducting some experiments in it, some of which seem to have borne fruit.

We have created new species and some of them are ready to go out to the real world.

Among these species we can find some ready to adopt and others that are still being

investigated. You can adopt specimens from our center, explore the pocket dimention

in search of wild specimens, pay the geneticists to create one to your liking and

support species still in progress.

In the "species" section all the species appear and whether they are available

or not, where they are available, basic information, rarity, traits, patrons,...

Don't be afraid to mark or ask any questions you have.

Like many other species in our world have done before, these theropods have returned to our marine origins and have evolved to be able to live in water again, although they are still in an intermediate phase of this evolution process. They are capable of living and feeding in water like penguins and seals, but they can also live perfectly without water in their surroundings if they are supplied with a considerable amount of fish.

They have a great sense of family, pack, mutual protection and loyalty. As protective and loyal to the humans they consider their family as huskies could be.

Their plumage is dense, very insulating and waterproof like that of penguins, allowing them to control the temperature in very cold waters.

There is no visible difference between males and females and both care for young and hunt equally.

As the specific epithet of its scientific name says, this species has evolved in coexistence with humans and is so far our largest creature and also the most domesticated.

Despite the fragile appearance of their legs, these animals can carry an incredible amount of weight without getting hurt or getting tired, for this reason and because of their large size, their applications in agriculture and livestock are being considered, as a mount to herd the flock and to carry resources.

You can ride on its back like a horse, although it is not as big as these. And although it does not have as long an endurance as a horse, it can reach a higher top speed in a sprint and jump as well as a jumping horse, in addition to being able to move across a greater variety of terrain, even climbing with a rider on its back.

They are intelligent, loyal and somewhat skittish, like a horse, but the way they move and act is more reminiscent of a mouse or a gazelle. Because of how they tense up when they sense danger, how they sniff around them and move their ears, and how they get on two legs, reminiscent of a gerenuc eating.

Being a species that has evolved since its beginnings in relation to humans, there is not much to say about its behavior in the wild.

Small species with behavior and maners similar to those of a meerkat; It is also incective, although it also appreciates sweet fruits as a treat.

Unlike meerkats, whose groups can reach 40 individuals, surinykus prefer smaller packs and do not usually exceed 15 individuals, being able to live comfortably with a single companion. On the other hand, if they are completely alone, they need a lot of attention because they can become depressed.

In their natural state they live in desert, both warm and cold, areas, digging burrows and feeding on what little they can find. If you have a large garden you probably don't even have to feed them, they will take care of hunting for their dinner and leaving your garden clean of pests (And full of holes).

Their adaptation to eating fruits and being able to digest some seeds comes from adapting to colder deserts where insects are rare.

There is no visible difference between males and females, but they have a strict matriarchal hierarchy.
