|what is this Sikaite's backstory? | she was a lab
experiment gone wrong. an anomaly never meant
to exist. she was the first of her kind, as was
determined by her assigned ID: "001." such a cold,
lifeless number. no vitality, no joy, nothing. and
yet armed with a deceptively sweet appearance,
she finds that it was laughably easy for her to
gain the trust of others. it would have been
incredibly easy for her to manipulate others to do
her bidding. that's what always happens in those
stories, right?
except she didn't. she decided that there was
a lack of life in the world she sees around her;
everything, everyone so grey and discolored and
dull. she vowed to change that. she had a vision,
a most beautiful dream, of a world without strife,
without pain; colorful and bold and filled with an
appreciation for existence.
it takes a special kind of spark to make the right
choice. she decided that she will be the first
of many more to come, and she will be the one
that others might remember and look up to.
she was known as a caretaker, a nurturer. one
that looks out for the betterment of others.

| how'd they get so many bandages? | "for heaven's sake. why
are you so tight-lipped about what happened?" 麻布 ducked their
head, ignoring the comment as they hastily checked to see if their
bandages are in place. once assured everything was covered, they
turned back with a self-assured smile dangling off their lip, "why,
just a scrape. a tumble. you know me."
the other sikaite™ narrowed their eyes, entirely unconvinced,
"this has something to do with the glitch in the code, doesn't it?"
麻布 didn't answer, which proved enough to confirm their
suspicions, "we told you. don't go poking your nose in places where
you shouldn't. don't try to alter the sikasekai. don't do anything
that could bring about the end of the world as we know it-"
"hey, for the record, the only person that got hurt was me, so i don't
see why it's such a big deal! everyone else is perfectly fine."
麻布 interrupted them, mid-rant, irritation clear upon their features.
without waiting for a response, they turned and stormed off.

the other sikaite™ could only watch their retreating form in disbelief.
"unbelievable." they mumbled to themself, "do they not realize we
actually care about their well-being?" they shook their head, "as
much of a jerk they act like, no one wants to see them like this..."

麻布 limped as fast as they could, still unused to the recent absence
of their limb. they followed a well-beaten path to a run-down shack
in the forest, where they finally allowed their arrogant and aloof
persona to drop. with a sigh, they slowly unbound their wounds.

a single shoot peeks out from between the loose folds of the bandages.
they carefully laid down in a patch of sunlight, to better allow the
leaves that are suddenly growing out of their body to photosynthesize.
they find that if the plants were unhealthy, they felt particularly
sluggish and unwell as well.
in the solitude, 麻布 had to reflect upon the absurdity of the situation.
"try to be immortal, and get turned into a plant. somebody sure does
have a sick sense of humor."

⚙| how'd they get so many bandages? | Jeremy was often doing daring stunts with his friends, mainly because of the name he was given as a kid called “scaredy-cat”. He was so determined to prove himself brave he faked being fearless and doing dangerous stunts, causing him to have multiple bandages. But none of them were as bad as when he had to loose his leg to a large gash that quickly became infected only a day after it had been bandaged. While he was jumping from tree branches with his friends below, he slipped and got the injury.. it was infected before it had the bandage put upon it. Now Jeremy walks with his new friends who wouldn’t judge him for being a scaredy-cat, ditching his old ones..

Unfortunately, the Arctic Paw Pageant event has been delayed due to problems occuring with my art program.
