Scientific name: Panthera Leo Aureus
Domestic name: Aure

Aure are gemstone creatures that are about the length of your index finger tall, and have very vibrant pelts. their very bones are made of gemstones, as is evident from the quill-like protrusions on their backs, the tall horn in the center of their foreheads, and the gemstone itself that appears embedded in their pelts, their soulstone.
Their eyes and soulstones generally categorize them among other gemstone creatures based on the common color of their gem category, for example, a Sapphire Aure will most reliably be a brilliant sapphire or cobalt blue with some varying values, regardless of the color of the sapphire itself.

How to get an Aureulion
There will be batches posted, usually in bushels of no less than three. Batches have no schedule, and will occur rather randomly.
There are a few types of bushels- raffles, first-come-first-serve, and purchasable.
In raffles you may apply for one Aure in the bushel, and when the end date comes they will be raffled between those who entered their raffle. In first-come-first-serve, the first one to successfully apply (correctly) for an Aure in a bushel will get it, and forms will no longer be taken for that Aure. Purchasable Aure can be bought for the price of 1 rare, and always contain multiple uncommon traits at the least, though many will have a rare trait.

Aure Society
Aure function in bands, Bushels, where they prefer not to separate. When you start a collection of Aure, you are integrating Aure into your Bushel, where they accept you as an equal. Aure sleep in piles, with no ranking among each other. Their bonds are all asexual and aromantic, though they hold very intimate and close relationships with all the Aure in their Bushel. They do not have "mates", though they are capable of creating new gems. When a new Aure is made, it can have up to four hosts. These host Aure sacrifice the tip of their horns, an event that is not painful, and the fragments are buried together in the ground usually beneath where their Bushel has their sleeping pile. Their horns take a month to grow back, about as long as the new gem takes to grow. When the gem is grown, it becomes one with the Bushel, and considers all of the Aure around it to be family of the same level, holding no higher standard for the hosts that created it.

Magical Abilities
Aure don't have especially opposing magical abilities, they cannot heal physical injury or do damage with their magic, but they are instead known as Empaths. They can feel and affect the emotions of other creatures, and are more effective when in the presence of other Aure. Though there is no proof, Aure who sing are theorized to have other magic capabilities within their voices, though scientists haven't been able to find any solid evidence of what the singing might do.

Aureling; This what "baby" Aure are called after they crawl out from under the ground but before they have become fully grown, they do not exhibit any traits other than their colored pelts and eyes
Aureulion/Aure The term for a fully grown and developed Aureulion, where "Aure" is the word used to refer to all ages and shapes of Aure- Gemling, Aureling, and Aureulion alike

Rules
-the minimum number of hosting Aure is 2, the maximum is 4
-only one gemling may be hosted at one time within your Bushel
-you may host with another user's Aure if given permission on the thread
you must choose who's slot you will use among yourselves
-be patient; an Aure takes 4 weeks/1 month to fully form- a gemling takes 2-3 weeks to emerge, and an aureling takes 1-2 weeks to grow to its full potential
it always takes a total of 1 month, so if a gemling takes 2 weeks, the aureling will take 2 weeks, if the gemling takes 3 weeks, the aureling will only take 1 week
-the only exception to the first rule is solo-hosting; solo-hosting requires an item called a starstone, and is effectively a "custom"

How Rarities work
Each trait is worth a certain number of rarity points (yp/), default traits remove points while common, uncommon, and rare traits add points. This is so that when trading, breeding, and participating in events and games, you know the relevance of your Aure's rarity to others.
