The Red Roses (story):
A few feet from the entrance was a closed card board box with holes at the top - small holes that let speckles of the outside world shine through. A thick blue blanket padded the floor, shielding a small figure from most of the cold. It was a windy day, icy and wet. Snow lined the sides of the pavement, while straggled icicles hung like streamers from the roof of the hospital. The sirens, the voices, and the smacking of shoes on ice lay outside. Hours ago, this box had been warm, inside somewhere sheltered. But now it was here. As the inhabitant of the box began to wake up, it was welcomed to its surroundings by another siren. It raised its eyes upward, peering at the holes, watching intently when a small flurry of snow drifted onto the blanket...

Personality: She is the sweetest, most sensitive creature ever. Her charming personality will make you go "Aww". She loves cuddles and is always on her owner's lap. Rice often curls up in a ball when she's scared, and she will bare her teeth when threatened, but she wouldn't hurt a fly. She is quiet until it's morning and her owner won't wake up for work. This chilla mouse will go on her squeaky wheel and wake them up! Rice is quite sneaky, stubborn, loves to hide in things and just won't give up. She cares about everyone, a lot, the other pets in her owner's room love hanging out with her because she's gentle and soft. Her childish nature will make her play with just about any pup/kit/baby out there. She's really a sweetheart. <3

username. Hello, hello! I'm crutchie_, but feel free to call me Crutch. My username comes from a character in the musical Newsies, which I love to pieces! I love to create in all ways possible, writing or reading or drawing. I love to write and I have written competitively in the past, going to state finals one year! I have many favourite books; The Scorpio Races, Yellow Fever, and the Maze Runner series among many. I am a total nerd and love Marvel and DC, Youtube, and a whole hurricane of Broadway shows. I have adopted three lovely characters from the agency: Keagon, Amunet, and Rolo.

Why do you want this character?
Bridge has caught my eye a few times while I was searching for characters to potentially adopt, but nothing really came to mind when I looked at them. One day while I was sitting on the bus, I was scrolling through the kennels and there was Bridge. All of these ideas came to my brain and it honestly hurt my head a little. I really like the simple design and the cute accessories they have on them. Also, their little ducky is so adorable. I knew that I just had to try out.

Where would you use it? what for?
I would primarily use them outside of CS (not on other sites, just in real life ^^) and would give them lots of love and attention. They would get art and writing pieces mainly all done by me. If I could afford it, I'd definitely get someone else to draw this big grump but unfortunately I'm poor, so Bridge will have to settle.

Personality.

When describing Bridge and their personality, some may use words like: Blunt, cruel, and most notably- Evil. While all of these may be one-hundred percent true, there is more to Bridge than just being the stereotypical queen bee in every high school movie that has ever been created. Yes, they have a tendency to call things as they see it even if it hurts the other person's feelings. To them, they fixed a problem and should be rewarded for their heroic deed. In the very rare occurrence that the recipient of Bridge's tough love decides to swing back at them, rest assured that there is a killer comeback just waiting to be released. There has never ever been a time that Bridge has not had the last word in a battle of sass. That is one of their biggest accomplishments and likes to remind you of it every twenty-four hours just so they can feel superior. Bridge also has the idea that they can do everything themself. They are very reluctant to honestly ask anyone for anything just because of their huge ego. So in short, be honored if this ever happens to you because you know that it probably won't happen again anytime soon.

Speaking of ego, Bridge likes to get what they want when they want it. And if in order to achieve this goal someone else has to get hurt, it is no skin off Bridge's back. Just as their aunt taught them, you have to be willing to do anything to reach your dreams (or a prom date or lab partner), and that is exactly what happens.

History.

Bridge's history begins in a tiny cabin in the woods, though that is not where they were born. Little baby Bridge was home, nice and safe with her grandmother while her parents were out on a little celebration for their daughter's birth. It was a celebration that would cost them their lives. Some in her town say there was a forest fire, others say it wasn't an accident, but any way it went, it left Bridge without their parents. They were placed in the home of her aunt and uncle and grew up there alongside her four rowdy cousins. Growing up, Bridge was a very distant child. They never really connected with the family they knew because some part of them knew that it wasn't right. Instead, they confided in a small plush duck named Momo who they brought everywhere and bit the fingers of anybody who would get near. Nobody said anything because they knew what kind of pup Bridge was.

That aggressive personality didn't cease in school because Bridge gained a rep pretty quickly. While they were (mostly) respectful towards teachers and other adults, students and younger people were a totally different story. They enjoyed pulling pranks on their classmates at random just for the fun of it or to further themselves in some class or group. Despite their totally atrocious personality, Bridge had a particular interest in casual romances. Three girlfriends and four boyfriends later, they decided that nobody was worthy of their full time company. Their longest relationship was in college with a boy named Augustus. It lasted only three months before they called it quits after Bridge tried to assault his sister because they thought she was trying to make a move on their man. Augustus forgave them but decided it was best if they saw other people. That really wasn't a surprise, and not a very big one to be honest.

Today, Bridge lives in a small house by a creek and a bridge close to their hometown. They work as a freelance journalist and illustrator for only a small fee. Though it may seem like a lonely life, Bridge is perfectly okay with being alone, well, except for Momo. He sits near their laptop and serves as a helping hand while doing they do their work. They are not afraid of any assignment that they are faced with, the only challenging part is trying to get over the stupidity of their clients. Of course, pointing out said stupidity is bad for business, so they have a notebook containing multiple pages of very rude thoughts on everyone who has ever commissioned their work. Being polite is a seemingly small price to pay for anyone else, but it is like pulling teeth for Bridge.
