A MYSTERIOUS UNICORN SPECIES
The Loriel Games are a trio of events that Bequelle's Liontails compete in when groups of humans pass through their valley in autumn of each year. These events are racing, jumping and herding. Liontails will compete to win rosettes - one for each event. Some BLs, if they have high temperament skill stars, may be approached long enough by humans to apply tack including reins, saddle bridle and leg wraps. If your BL has only one or two temperament skill stars it is unlikely they will have tack!

Racing
The Loriel Race takes place in a long stretch through the valley. Bequelle's liontails are all pacy creatures. However, BLs with high stamina and speed skill stars will perform well in this event.
Jumping
The BL jumping competition takes place in a small cobbled together arena. Jumps will mostly be constructed from fallen trees and branches, rocks and vegetation. BLs with high speed and strength will perform well in this event.
Herding
Traditionally, "cutting" is a western sport in which rider and horse work together to isolate a cow from its herd in an arena and prevent it from returning. The BL herding competition is very similar to this, however rather than controlling just one single animal the BL is required to control the entire herd of cattle at once. The aim is to move the herd from one point to another quickly without causing unnecessary stress to the cattle. BLs with high speed and intelligence will perform well in this event.
The cattle used in this event are crossbreeds of highland cattle and charolais cattle (white/cream coloured cows with shaggy fur and horns).

To enter a liontail into the Loriel games, simply copy the form below. You may enter ONE liontail in each event, and the liontail cannot be entered in multiple events. So you could have 3 DIFFERENT BLs entered, one in each event. The liontails will be judged on the following:
- how well suited the liontail's skill stars are to the event (see above)
- the detail of the form
- any art/creative writing included in the entry

There will be three winners in total, one for each event. Each winner will have a choice of ONE of the following prizes:
ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴ 𝟷: You can add 4 Skill Stars to any of your liontails, in any category. PM the original design artist to edit the first post and add your extra stars in the desired category.
ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴ 𝟸: A free breeding spot guaranteed to produce two foals. Next time breedings are open, post a form with the desired parents of your twins (doesn't have to be your competing BL), including the artist you wish to design your foals.
ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴ 𝟹: A custom foal (within the BL breed specifications). If you are an artist, you can -if you wish- design the foal yourself (if not, PM the artist you would like to do this for you). If you'd like, you can make the foal the product of a breeding, or they can be a parent-less foal.
