Do not be afraid for the Lord is with you.
Do not tremble, for the lord is your guide.
Do not weep, for the King of Kings will never give you up.
Do not get angry, for the Lord is your Father.
Do not run into the dark, for the Lord is the light.
Do not say that I'm a fool, for the Lord punishes the foolish.
Do not doubt what I am saying, for I don't lie, I only speak the truth.

Why?
Why don't you see the troubled world we live in?
Why don't you hear the screams of the tortured?
Why don't you feel compassion for the homeless?
Why do you shun the ones who are confused?
Why do you hurt the ones who sin?
Why don't you see, that the Lord is trying to mend, a broken world.

Perfect World.
You say that this is a time, where everything is good
You say that everything, goes as it should.
But then i wonder the lonely streets, and talk to the forgotten.
and they say that the world we live in is rotten.
I must agree with them you see,
Because the world was not meant to be like this you see.
It all began with God and nothing,
then in seven days, there was something.
There were trees and birds,
and also there were no burrs in the ferns
There were two humans back then,
naked and proud, oh without sin.
God had warned them to never eat of the tree,
But Staten was powerful, you will soon see.
He temped the women to eat of the fruit,
she even made the man, take a bite too.
God was searching for the two that day,
asking, "Where are you? Are you away?"
They hid themselves, and notesed their nakedness,
so they covered themselves with leaves and twigs.
God soon found them, you see
and he was angry that they had sinned against the almighty three.
The humans were sorry, but were cast away,
from the garden that was guarded by angel with a sword.
This world was full of sin from the beginning,
so, this world is not perfect, to see that man on the street, begging for food to eat.

I don't want to do that yet, I'm only young, I'll get there yet.
I don't want to go to that boy you see, it will only be the end of me.
I don't want to the fallen girl, It will only make me late for work still.
I don't want to hear things about God and stuff, I have all the time I need....
later on that day you see, he was in his car, happy and free.
He kept going when the light was bright,
he died intently, without a fight.
Now he sees, in front of the pearly gates, that he had no time,
no time for the little boy, running in the street.
no time for the fallen girl, scraped knee and all.
no time for his friend only to save him from all this stuff.
I don't have time, he said, to be set free.

A hole in my heart.
I try to fill it, the hole in my heart. with evil things from the start.
I tried stealing and things, as well as smoking rings.
Later I tried a too far relationship,
it didn't end well, for me and Nick.
I cried every night until the morn,
I almost wanted to die, release the scorn.
But one day, a package was sent to me,
From a old friend, in Germany.
Inside was a Bible, all bound in leather.
In side the book, was a lengthy letter.
It read:
I feel your pain, old friend.
So I decided to send you something in your need of a mend.
I read the bible, cover to cover.
When I was finished, I was stunned to discover
that all my problems were solved, I had found my lover
The lord is my shepherd, And he will guide me forever and ever, till the end of time.
This filled the hole in my heart,
I should have tried this, from the start.
