I'm attempting to finish my entry for a competition here on CS whilst I'm taking some time to work on one of my personal projects on the side. I'm trying to keep myself on my toes.

I've been working on a short story of mine, and starting the editing notes on my novel. Reading through my first draft is a new level or suffering...

Three beats — four beats — pounding at the door.

She couldn't look out, couldn't open it, must not unlock it.

Five beats — six — ‘Don't open, ‘tis the law!’

She had been trapped here in Hell for countless hours, air running dangerously low.

Seven beats — eight — what will win this bloody war?

Hi guys! Long time no see! I've been a little busy lately doing other things, so I didn't go on CS. Anything new happening with you guys?

I've been helping a friend with editing, I've been picking through the judging I need to do for my competition, I've been working at my story for Sparrow's competition, I've been trying to come up with something to write for a competition on Wattpad, I've been writing drabbles in the meantime, and I've been trying to keep up with schoolwork and housework at the same time. And looking forward to Camp NaNo, and wanting to draw a picture of my character. So yeah. Mentally, I have been very busy c':
